Vanta for our SOC2 audit was amazing
What do you like best about the product?
The sales and onboarding process was smooth and easy

No PEN testing built into platform, I would like to see this added

Vanta has helped by company to write needed policies and streamline our documentation

The document templates are extremely helpful in allowing us not to start from scratch.

I havent found anything yet that I dislike about vanta.

We are trying to improve our documentation and hope to recieve sok 2 certification.
Lifesaver for SOC2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta automatically created a working list of where to focus our attention to become SOC2 compliant. Without Vanta, we would not have been able to get SOC2 compliant in such a short amount of time. Our monthly check-ins were espcially helpful to make sure we had all the things we needed to become compliant. They lined us up with auditors and penetration testers and really set us up for success. If you need some type of compliance, I would absolutely check Vanta out!
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard has since changed, but at first, I couldn't easily find the `needs attention` tasks. However, the new dashboard is great and has the filtering right at the top!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 Compliance. The list of things to prioritize and work on was invaluable since we had no idea what was required and what wasn't. Also, we get the weekly email about things we need to keep an eye on in order to keep our company in a complaint state along the way.

the communication is very great you get to have hands on help and constant reach back

the tests sometimes are annoying but now you have a system to state that a new test is upcoming

We are utilizing Vanta for soc2 and HIPPA audit
Great Resource for New Startups
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provided us a clear path to not only achieve our SOC II Type 1 Certification but to implement policies and practices we actually use day-to-day. It was straightforward to get set up, and we use it continuously. It truly helped us set best practices for our security policies, not just check boxes for certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not exclusive to Vanta, but security policy implementation is not an overnight process. Getting up and running was quite a bit of effort. Going from zero to complete required a lot of effort from our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our immediate need was to achieve SOC II certification. We didn't know what we needed to get there, but Vanta helped us lay a clear path and groundwork for achieving certification. After our certification, we've found it ar easier to keep our policies and practices up to date.

Great platform and Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard and data available to the users when they use Vanta service. Appreciate how well the dashboard align with the security posture of the organization. Reminders are great on the documents and aspects that need a constant check-in balance.

Nothing so far that would put the application in the dislike zone.

What do you like best about the product?
Made the documentation and audit process much easier than we ever expected! We could easily see what needed attention and get ready for our audit much faster than we expected. Feels like a set-it-and-update-as-needed tool which makes compliance easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Vanta has grown over the past few years, they are now launching more add-on features for additional $$.
This feels like we're slowly getting less and less value for what is already an expensive tool. Our success check-ins feel more like a sales pitch than a useful meeting.
I enjoy Vanta but hope this doesn't continue to make the product more complex to navigate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing for and maintaining our compliance standards to meet SOC 1 and 2 requirements. We're able to keep up with any changes through regular Vanta notifications which makes the process much simpler to manage.
