What do you like best about the product?
The integration of many aspects of Information Security GRC (Policies, 3rd Party Risk Management, Risk Register, Framework Compliance, Trust Center, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. We are still learning to use the system.

Superior 3rd Party Risk Management through AI review, Policy alignment with Security Frameworks, Risk Register and Trust Center.
Effortless Integration and User-Friendly Test Management
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with third-party tools, immediate linking of documents with tests, and you don't need to be an expert in the framework being evaluated into, to perform the corrective measurements

Integrations seem to break a bit too often.

Vanta has been instrumental in helping us maintain our SOC 2 compliance, which is essential for our business to succeed.
Effortless Compliance Management, Needs Clearer Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta for making it incredibly easy to track personnel, policies, and put controls in place. It's convenient to have everything in one place, where I can quickly make updates and changes. The notifications about policies or controls needing attention keep me well-informed and proactive. I like the templates for policies and other items, as they considerably simplify the process of creating and editing drafts since most of the work is already done. These templates save me a significant amount of time because I don't need to conduct independent research.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the layout of Vanta a bit confusing and it took me some time to get accustomed to it. When I receive notifications about a control or test needing attention, I'm often uncertain how to address the issue. I believe Vanta should be more explicit in detailing the actions required to remediate a control or test and provide clear guidance on how to execute these actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to simplify SOC2 compliance by tracking personnel and policies, placing controls centrally, and receiving notifications for needed updates, saving time with convenient templates.

The ease of use, the modern interface, the availability of frameworks

I've noticed that I find the Risk tab to be a bit too complex and overwhelming in its current design

Vanta's software has significantly streamlined our ISO audit process. The platform allows us to map controls directly to certification requirements, and its process management tools enable us to assign work or evidence-gathering tasks directly to the relevant controls and service owners. This setup also provides comprehensive tracking for the steering committee, making oversight much easier.
Recently, I reached out to Vanta's customer support for assistance with an access review question. My support agent, Paige, was outstanding—she created a video with a screen recording that clearly demonstrated all the possible solutions within my account, which made it very straightforward to identify and resolve the issue.
I'm very satisfied with both the software and the support team, and I would recommend Vanta to others.

It has taken me some time to get familiar with how the different tools in Vanta are arranged in the navigation. I would really appreciate a feature that makes it easier to jump to my most recently visited or bookmarked pages within the tool.

Streamlined Audits and Integrations, But Needs Better Evidence Management
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined audits, evidence uploads, integrations, and implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of evidence reference labels. For example, labeling the "Password Configuration" control PW-1 or something similar will provide an easy way to reference which control we need employees to handle.

Keeps yearly audits on track
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is really easy to use, for beginners. Everyone users to admins can their way around without trouble. Its automated features make compliance work much smoother by cutting down on manual effort and reducing mistakes. The FAQs and helps articles usually answer most of my questions, and if not, there are other ways to reach support. We use vanta every year track our audits and make sure we're staying complaint with all the teams involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
As our team grows, there are still some features in vanta we havn't explored yet, which might make it a bit harder for new users to keep up. It would be great if vanta added more user made content like videos and articles to help people learn and get comfortable with the plaform faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With vanta, we've moved away from messy spreadsheets, endless meetings, and confusing email threads. Everything for audit management is now one place, making it easier for all departments and teams to work together. Once something is uploaded, its easy to organise and find later, which makes the whole compliance process much smoother and faster.

The verbiage that fields are called. For example "TESTS" would be more appropriately labeled as "Action Items".
