Great compliance partner, though simplicity has taken a step back as it's grown
What do you like best about the product?
The way it connects directly with our cloud environment and the tools we use every day. This level of integration makes it easy to keep everything in sync without a lot of manual effort. I also find the alerting system extremely valuable because it lets me know right away when something isn't working as expected or when we are drifting away from compliance requirements. Having visibility give me peace of mind, although I don't get all the information as clearly as I would like, but I deal with it, and it also helps my team address issues before they become bigger problems
What do you dislike about the product?
While the alert system is valuable, the way it presents information can sometimes be overwhelming or unclear. Certain alerts lack enough context and appear in some cases as codes, which make it harder to immediately understand the source of the issue. This can turn into extra time spent investigating and trying to allocate the affected resources. A more streamlined way of categorizing alerts and linking directly to the impacted systems would make the experience far more efficient
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta Helps me manage and maintain the controls required for the certifications my company holds, as well as for clients who also rely on Vanta. We work with frameworks like SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPPA, and the platform makes it much easier to stay organized and compliant. One of the biggest benefits is that Vanta centralizes all the controls, documentation, and related policies in on place, this allows us to track progress, maintain evidence, and ensure that everything is always audit-ready. It also streamlines communication with auditors, since they can go directly into the system to review the required documentation without back-and-forth requests, saving us significant time and effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has transformed the way we approach compliance by automating evidence collection, monitoring controls, and integrating seamlessly with out tech stack (Google Workspace, AWS, Slack etc). The platform saves significant time, reduces manual overhead, and gives us real-time visibility into gaps. The guided workflows, audit preparation tools, and policy templates make it easier to stay on top of SOC 2 readiness.
What do you dislike about the product?
The depth of integrations is excellent, but can be a little USA vendor focused. Reporting could also be more customisable for different audiences (board, auditor, internal teams). These are relatively minor compared to the value it delivers overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us streamline SOC 2 readiness and ongoing InfoSec governance by automating evidence collection, monitoring controls, and standardising policy management. Instead of manually chasing compliance tasks, the platform provides a clear dashboard view of priorities and progress, which saves our team time and reduces risk of missing critical requirements. The integrations with our existing systems ensures continuous monitoring and this has lifted our confidence when engaging auditors and enterprise clients. Ultimately, Vanta makes compliance less of a once-a-year scrabble and more of a continuous structure process that supports trust and growth.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has made the process of preparing and running our ISO audit significantly easier. The platform is very intuitive, which helped us get up to speed quickly without requiring a long learning curve. We particularly value the automation features—it continuously monitors controls, collects evidence, and reduces a lot of the manual effort we previously had to deal with. The vendor management module is also a big plus for us, as it centralizes our vendor risk assessments and makes it much easier to track compliance across our supply chain.
Ease of use and ease of implementation stand out: onboarding was straightforward, the dashboards are clean and well-structured, and our team was able to start working productively in a short time. This means that some of the templates or workflows require customization on our side to fully align with ISO requirements. Additionally, the reporting capabilities could be more flexible—export options and customization are somewhat limited.

Although the customer support team has been responsive and helpful whenever I had questions or needed guidance, resolving certain issues required several back-and-forth emails. This was the case, for example, when I contacted them about a remediation policy that was not updating as expected.

The information and cybersecurity training material is not of the highest quality it should be far more advance and updated for a platform that can gather and continuously builds on that.
The scheduler regarding personnel acceptance policies does not work as expected. When scheduled for all personnel it does automatically exclude those that accept the policies but keep sending reminders.
