Simplifies Security Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small company that can not reasonably support a security and compliance team with the level of sophistication that Vanta brings to the table. Being able to outsource saves our sanity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any issues so far. In general they have been great to work with and met our expectations.

Vanta makes it possible to complete a SOC 2 while still keeping your sanity (and weekends)
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's automation and intelligent monitoring delivers targeted, actionable (and often guided) information on what really matters to my team. It's an integral part of my daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I've found that I dislike. It's important to remember that at the end of the day it's monitoring and assessing against whatever you tell it/connect it to. You'll be best served if you use one of their many integrations to ensure you're getting the best bang for your buck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta reduces the manual work and effort involved in SOC 2 compliance. I'm able to see at a glance our compliance status, upcoming reviews, flagged items (and where they come from and, most of the time, even how to address the gap)! It saves hours of my time, provides peace of mind to internal and external stakeholders (the new Trust page feature especially is awesome for this). I recently stood up a new MDM, and integrating it with Vanta was simple, painless and has already proven helpful for endpoint management compliance.
Road to SOC II
What do you like best about the product?
Continuous monitoring of my cloud asset and my cloud accounts.
Very structured approach to audit and audit artifacts. Vanta forces my organization to keep all of our processes up to date.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more integrations, specifically integration with AWS SSO. Also, some of the tests are not very flexible and defining some more granular rules (like specifying an exception port for security group because of ALB requirements would be helpful)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us to achieve our SOC II compliance and to keep it up to date. Also, it a great tool to constantly monitor and improve your security processes. For me Vanta saves at least one full FTE for security
Can't imagine managing compliance without it
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and navigate. Great coverage of frameworks. Strong auditor network. Evolving really fast with lots of helpful new features. Has helped us get our information security program organized and together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. Everything is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Soc 2 compliance. HIPAA compliance. General information security robustness.
The Vanta team and their software made our SOC 2 prep and audit so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing would be Claire, our account manager. But other highlights are their easy-to-use software and excellent support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a few minor flaws in things more specific to our needs, but nothing that we weren't able to work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They solve risk management, access reviews, trust report to name a few.
Vanta were invaluable to us achieving ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II accreditation
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy integrations with the tools we already use (Google Workspace, GitHub, Jira, AWS, etc) allowed us to get up and running with minimal effort, and have a good overview of the work that would be needed in order to achieve an accrediation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Current system of having a dedicated owner of each asset doesn't always make sense when talking about serverless resources. It would be good it some of this data could be pulled in automatically from the infrastructure provider
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us to quickly acheive ISO27001 and SOC 2 Type II accreditations with a small team that had not worked on either accreditation previously.
Vanta removes complexity and effort from SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
There are 3 things that are amazing: ability to automate laborious tasks, provide templates for cumbersome document creation, ongoing monitoring of test compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta continues to add integrations, but this is to be expected. Sometimes it's a little confusing to navigate between tests, uploaded evidence, documents, and so many of the other artifacts - however, I've already seen continuous improvement in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta handles many mundane activities necessary to complete the SOC 2 certification process. Doing this frees my team and me to focus on building our business by building the things that only we can build and majorly saves on opportunity cost.
Smooth and seamless onboarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
The entire Vanta team has been extremely helpful throughout the onboarding process. From first email to continued check-ins, everyone involved has taken the time to offer tailored advice and guidance to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There haven't been any downsides so far! The only potential downside would be that the PaaS vendor we use to host our infrastructure does not yet have a supported integration through Vanta. However, my implementation manager has taken the time to flag this as a request to the rest of the engineering team and has been very transparent about how this is being prioritized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is chiefly addressing security compliance problems, both for our systems and vendors. Our industry requires strict adherence to certain compliance standards, and customers are particularly sensitive to any vulnerabilities due to past breaches by other vendors in the space. Vanta's automated monitors and controls are an immeasurable benefit in finding, prioritizing, and addressing vulnerabilities.
Easy to stay compliant
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to stay compliant with Vanta on guard! They notify you with any problems, and the help desk is extremely helpful if anything arises!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not say there is anything I have experienced with Vanta that their help team has been unable to fix or help with.

Vanta helps our company stay compliant and stream lines the process with ease.
Great onboarding, great product
What do you like best about the product?
Compliance and security is made easy. Vanta also helps us get our security cetifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, the onboarding is smooth.
