Vanta took the stress out of SOC2 Management!

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Vanta for me has been how much manual effort it replaced. Before using it, I was switching between spreadsheets and chasing teammates for audit evidence. Now, I connect our tools—Google Workspace, AWS, Jira, everything—and Vanta continuously pulls data and checks controls automatically. It saves me hours each week. I also really like that it gives me a live view of our compliance status instead of a scramble at audit time. Their prebuilt policies and templates helped us get our SOC 2 done way faster than expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the dashboard can be a bit slow or clunky, especially when reviewing access controls .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It completely changed how I handle compliance. I no longer have to dig through old docs or rely on memory to prove what we’re doing. Vanta automates evidence collection and highlights what’s missing in real-time. When we went through our first SOC 2 audit, the auditor barely asked us for anything because Vanta already had it organized. It made the entire audit process smoother, and we even closed it ahead of schedule. Onboarding vendors is easier now too—there’s a whole vendor management flow that saves me back-and-forth emails.

Vanta has a integration facility which automatically controls many of the controls. The best part is evidence automation.

Practical platform to follow trainings and internal policies

What do you like best about the product?
Navigation is simple and straightforward, which greatly facilitates quick access to mandatory training and security and compliance policies. The clean and objective interface helps focus on the content without distractions. Easy implementation and good customer support. Our team uses it whenever there is an update in internal policy. Easy integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile experience can still improve. Some pages take a long time to load or do not adjust well to the phone screen, which can make access difficult outside of the desktop. Additionally, it would be interesting to have an option to save or export completion certificates directly from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefit is the centralization of mandatory content in one place, with clear notifications about deadlines and pending tasks. This ensures that all employees are aligned with the company's compliance requirements. Additionally, tracking the confirmation of reading and completion of training is very easy.

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy and clean interface
- Facilitates getting security certificates and puts us into contact with auditors, making the whole thing a painless process
- Like the trust center
- Like the tests and alerts it generates. Gives me confidence we have things under control.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Some basic features are under expensive AI pro features, like an access review helper
- Sometimes it can be "noisy", too many alerts, false positives

- Gives me confidence that we are taking care of vulnerabilities, controls, etc

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has significantly reduced the manual burden of audits by automating evidence collection and mapping controls across multiple frameworks. Its integrations provide real-time visibility, and the Trust Center simplifies sharing security posture with customers. The platform has helped us scale compliance confidently while enabling continuous improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta simplifies core compliance tasks, we’d like to see deeper remediation guidance, more intuitive support for vendor risk tracking, and expanded metrics for executive reporting. Enhancing cross-framework mapping and offering better controls for AI policy governance would also increase its long-term value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us move away from scattered, manual compliance tasks and brought everything into one place. It automates evidence collection, keeps us continuously audit-ready, and gives our customers real-time visibility into our security posture. That’s a big win for trust. It also frees up my team to focus on higher-value security and AI governance work instead of chasing screenshots and spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the psychology behind Vanta's platform. We continuously strive to reach the 100% progress bar at all times! We love the constant notifications when tests fail, and that helps us remediate them right away!
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting set up with Vanta to start was a bit challenging. It seemed to be a challenge getting the team to understand how our business operates and what was the best way to tackle SOC compliance with how we operate as a business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying in compliance and remediating tests that determine if we are in compliance or not!

What do you like best about the product?
We used Vanta to help us get ready for our SOC2 audit. Super easy to use and had a ton of out of the box policies and tests we could adapt to our environment. We also tried out their access review feature and loved it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of our vendors integrated with the platform so we did have to do some manual work on that end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were overwhelmed with where to start for our SOC2 audit and Vanta helped aggregate everything in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
The implementations made with different vendors and the many types of controls that have been mapped out.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit to standardised and not adaptable to my own needs. Just being able to turn of controls is not sufficient, should be more adaptable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tests and makeing it simpler to guide other employees to compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Frameworks all in one place and take tasks from one framework and apply it to other frameworks if the item is the same and is needed for another audit. This is extremely insightful to have an idea of being done with SOC2 is already 75% done with HIPAA, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audit sections (e.g. Frameworks) are difficult to navigate when tasks are not applicable to certain aspects of the business. There are several areas to toggle back and forth between, and despite several tasks being related to the same item (e.g. performance evaluations), deactivating one doesn't deactivate the rest, even though those items are related/the same throughout the framework. This makes it challenging to get a clear snapshot of "how done are we?" with the framework completion status and makes for a lot of added individual steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single document repository and audit framework platform. We also use Vanta's recommended vendors for SOC2.

Some integrations could offer deeper customization or more granular controls, and occasionally, documentation updates lag behind feature changes. However, these are minor compared to the overall value Vanta delivers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving the complexity and time-consuming nature of maintaining compliance with security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Before Vanta, gathering audit evidence, tracking security controls, and ensuring continuous compliance required significant manual effort and coordination across teams. With Vanta, we benefit from automation, centralized monitoring, and real-time alerts, which reduce audit prep time and allow our security team to focus more on strategic initiatives rather than administrative tasks. It also gives us greater confidence when responding to vendor security assessments and customer trust inquiries.
