Vanta is an incredible platform and has saved us time and money!

I have not seen a security platform this well put together. Vanta made finding and closing our security concerns easy with Azure and AWS.
The policy templates were beneficial and gave us a serious head start.
The assigned auditor from Vanta is fantastic to work with.
The purchase process was simple and easy, and the assignment of the same auditor for both SOC2 and ISO 27001

What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with an external content management system through the API could be improved. We use our product Zavanta (www.comprose.com), a Policy and Procedure content management system to manage the policies and procedures. We want to integrate with our Zavanta tool better through the Vanta API. Vanta does have it on its roadmap, so this should be mitigated soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta gave us a serious head start on the assignment of an auditor and step-by-step information on becoming SOC2/ISO 27001 certified. Vanta kept us from hiring another security resource and helped us quickly bring our in-house knowledge up-to-speed. Our time-to-audit was about one month for SOC2.

Seamless, efficient and effective.
What do you like best about the product?
Right from the get go, I felt at ease and not pushed to sign up. I was made aware of all the details of the SOC 2 program and got help at every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the experience has been great; so no complaints yet.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a huge fan. The support team are highly responsive and knowledgable with clearly excellent training and manner. The interface with audit firms is convenient. The product itself has a delightful user interface which is clearly well thought out. The way it wires together processes, controls, tests, documents and integrations provides real confidence. Its a vital tool for us and would have been impossible to achieve what we have without it. I know how hard it is to build software that seems simple and Vanta have nailed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a downside of the product more things i'd like it to do. I'd love a broader API to be able to wire this more into our business and for integrations it doesn't yet support. The opportunities to use it to monitor compliance with other areas of our business, to be able to use for iso90001, to be able to monitor and inforce compliance with more organisation wide runbooks. I feel that Vanta would really benefit from opening up a community around the product where those that are going through the process can swap/share stories and best practice and support each other. Being able to access a productboard or similar forward looking roadmap would be great

We wanted to be able to complete our ISO27001 and SOC compliance at pace. Its allowed us the structure and flow to be able to achieve this

I would like to be able to filter the weekly notifications per standard. For example, receive notifications only for the missing items related to SOC2.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has provided a lot of visibility on security flaws all around our company. The monitoring and alerting system keeps our processes and systems secure, and provides great insight on what we're missing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Providing integrations with more systems would be really helpful, so the offboarding process is done faster. At the moment it is very manual. Also, providing a stronger Slack integration would be really helpful, to be able to solve things right from a channel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us get ISO certified, and the checklists, monitors and automated testing it provides have been a key factor to achieve this. Without a dedicated security team it's been hard for our company in the past, but Vanta is very intuitive and helps us get the information ready quickly.

Automation of controls, dashboards, centralizing all the information in one place

Some features need more work or at least more small features to make it ONE I ALL tool

Expectations were set early, clearly and a defined process was put in place to transition through to a working product. The team were extremely helpful throughout the onboarding process

There were few things we disliked about Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is providing us with a platform to facilitate SOC2 Type 2 reporting and will ensure we are kept on track to achieve this by using their pre-defined templates and timelines.
Great tool to organize and consolidate security compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The features/modules to manage policies, vendors and risk, and of course the monitoring section.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I want to use Vanta as our main GRC tool, there are some features missing to properly manage RIsk and Policies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps to get rid off all the separate trackers and consolidate all the information into one place. Also the automated evidence collection is a great help if your teams are really busy.
Fastest and most covenient path to ISO27001 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Automated testing of all controls incl. policy acceptance, tracking device security for employees via the vanta agent and external auditor portal that makes any audit fast and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course like any software Vanta comes at a cost but in our case, investing in Vanta is far more cost efficient that hiring a full-time resource to run the process (and if we were to hire someone, Vanta would still make sure there are never any errors).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal was to get ISO27001 and GDPR compliant as fast as possible and Vanta delivered on all it's promises. Customer support is great if needed and there is a full understanding of all client needs.
