Good details and offers resolution for issues
What do you like best about the product?
As an engineer with Vanta its easy to determyn where the issue is. It also offers possible solution for the issue that speeds up the resolution time
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to my mind at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its pinpointing possible security issues, and offers solutions for that. It help us in SOC II complaince

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to map controls so that a single piece of evidence can be re-used across mulitple frameworks is a tremendous benefit. It helps to make sure we know what's covered and where the gaps are. Also the built-in integrations are great to automatically collect evidence from connected systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the platform are fairly basic unless you pay for an add-on. The Risk Management tools was recently improved, but still lacks the flexibility of some other products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us manage multiple compliance frameworks and keep evidence centralized to ease the complexities of third-party audits.

Vanta is too smart sometimes and creates extra tasks we are not expecting.

Greatly simplified our first time SOC 2 audit

Expensive, though probably a positive ROI

Provides a simple framework in which to navigate the complex SOC 2 compliance and audit process. Automates some of the more mechanical aspects such as employee device compliance, security training and IAM. Connected us with a choice of good auditors. Provides high quality, accessible templates as a starting point for compliance related company policies.

What do you like best about the product?
As Security Lead for our company, Vanta clearly shows what needs to be addressed for compliance. I get straight to what I need to address and often there's links to how to address them which are quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Vanta adds more keyboard shortcuts. For example, when I assign assets to my teammates, I have to move between keyboard and mouse repeatedly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta provides a centralized view of areas that I need to address for our compliance framework.
It's easy for me to get a high level sense of what needs attention and also details what to address within a few clicks.

The depth and breadth of the integrations surfaces more complaince/security telemetry than any other platform.
The AI based questionnaire automation is the most effective use of NLM/AI that I have seen to do . It works very, very well and once you've trained it on 3-5 quetionnaire's - it does 90% of the work for you.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is little dated and occassionally it's Javaescript style interface gets a bit "Cookie confused" requiring an "app data" wipe
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's surfacing compliance telemetry and managing our compliance with numerous standards - we get to see everything related to ISO@7001 in one place, and can easily see our status and what work we need to do to achieve/maintain compliance

Super Simple to use! And it has everything you need to create systems & processes to control your organization and keep it compliant in real-time. The integrations with the different tools is a game changer!

It is pricey, but it is worth it when you want to get serious about compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of the controls in 1 single place and mapping them across the different systems you want to be compliant with.
Introduced innovation and automation to an otherwise very manual and labour-intensive process
What do you like best about the product?
How they translated complex regulation into a set of actionable tests that are easy to pass for most SaSS companies which based their infrastructure on the cloud. Engineers immediately resonate with their automation-based approach. Also, their notification system allows you to be much more proactively on top of things than having to manually review every single vulnerability and access request.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is still not feature-ready in my opinion. Even though they provide document builder the formatting tools are still not there. Sharing documents produced within Vanta doesn't transmit the professionalims and rigourous approach that a 27001 certified company is trying to transmit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resource intensive approach to compliance audits

The checklists are very helpful as are the educational videos
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't actually end up logging into Vanta very often and yet I feel like I get a disproportionate number of emails from the platform (more emails than I should)
