Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
I like the notification of deadlines. This makes it easy to stay compliant and not miss target dates. I also appreciate the ability to adjust the scope of our resources so out-of-scope items can be configured accordingly. The deadline notifications help us stay focused on our day-to-day tasks while keeping us compliant. I found the initial setup was easy due to the support team's assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The off-boarding process can be annoying when turnover is high. Mostly, waiting for the integrations to poll and update makes it frustrating. More consistent polling or a manual check to refresh integrations would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us manage SOC 2 compliance by notifying us of deadlines and allowing us to stay focused on our daily work. Its scope adjustment feature simplifies sorting cloud items, ensuring only relevant items are included.
Easy All-in-One Compliance Tracking, but Customer Support Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, all in one place. The platform makes it easy to keep track of everything so I am never behind.

Downsides of Vanta is the bad customer support.

Clear, Organized SOC 2 Pathway for a Growing Company
What do you like best about the product?
The organizational plan for obtaining our SOC2. The clear organized pathway was needed for our growing company! The website was very easy to use and integrate in our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were lots of notifications from Vanta but it was difficult to discern what had changed within the Vanta website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2. We need it for a future partnership with another company and for our growth in general.
Easy Implementation and All Framework Data in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
The ease if implementation and able to see all data by Framework in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are time when the tests or integration fail to update in reasonable time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining our SOC 2 compliance was simplified and easy to maintain controls and tests. Internal team found it easy to learn the system and is using it everyday.
Excellent for Structuring Controls Across Multiple Frameworks
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent at helping you understand and structuture your controls for a single or multiple frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is ok and could be improved as items are difficult to navigate to.

Design and implementation of single or multiple frameworks (e.g. SOC or ISO) is structured and easy to design & implemented.
Quick, Easy-to-Use Task Tracking with Clear Missing-Task Flags
What do you like best about the product?
It was really quick and easy to understand and use. The tasks were outlined clearly and straight forward. I liked how it clearly flagged missing/undone tasks.

I did receive a lot of notifications through multiple channels. It was sometimes overwhelming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us achieve compliance and security faster and in a more streamlined manner. It helped us easily, and with lower lift, get our documents organized and processes organized.
Automation experience and integrations impressive
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the automation with integrations and automated tests at Vanta. Through this functionality, we have significantly less effort in generating documents and evidence for the audit. The roadmap functionality also greatly facilitated the initial setup by making it easy to navigate through the various features of Vanta.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management of the policies could be more interesting if the versions could be compared in a diff and one had a better overview of the changes. Currently, in Vanta, you cannot exactly see what has changed, as essentially only the two PDFs are displayed. If one could see in which paragraph the text has changed, it would be more useful for the approval.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps me manage policies, risk management, access management, and the generation of audit evidence through automated tests. Automation significantly reduces the effort required to create documents and evidence.
For any ORG that wants to be sure that SOC 2, HIPPA, etc compliant, Vanta is the way to go.

Effortless Compliance with Top-Notch Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Vanta helped us get compliant and how they were on top of things when they went wrong. It's great that they assisted us in identifying a vulnerability in a specific part of our stack. The initial setup of Vanta was also very easy, which was a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, overall great experience. Maybe could move a little faster though.

I use Vanta for SOC 2 auditing. It helps us stay compliant and quickly identifies vulnerabilities in our stack, ensuring security. I appreciate their proactive response when something goes wrong.

I find Vanta to be a fantastic tool that's easy to use and built with automation in mind. It helps us get certified for SOC 2 Type 2, acts as a central repository for our policies and frameworks, monitors our systems, and provides us with a sleek trust center. It saves us time and money, and is easy to manage on an ongoing basis. The initial setup was also easy.

I don't like that Vanta needs more integrations and deeper, more customizable integrations.
