Continuous Monitoring: Vanta provides continuous monitoring tools to identify and address potential security risks proactively.
Another advantage of Vanta is its templated policies, which help streamline the documentation process. This feature is especially beneficial for organizations that may struggle with creating compliance documentation from scratch, as it mitigates the risk of inconsistencies and errors.

Streamlines Compliance Management
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta automates much of the traditionally manual process of providing evidence, tracking tasks, and identifying risks before they become major issues. It integrates with our existing workflow and provides clear guidance on any additional evidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the automated controls can falsely identify problems where there aren't any. Because so much of the system is automated, manually overriding them can require more work and supporting evidence than would otherwise be required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us keep all of our compliance organized and in check.
Overall good experience, some room for improvement especially for smaller companies

Streamlining the work with Auditors, making it much easier to tick the boxes that are going to be required for compliance.
Some of the automated checks are really nice to ensure compliance over time, and niceties like the trust page are a good bonus.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automated checks and tests are a bit coarse and generic - there are things that make sense for larger companies that don't always make sense for small startups and could be more streamlined.
Also relevant not just for startups - the controls around ensuring code in GitHub gets reviewed before pushing to production are coarse and not well designed to actually enable good security and best practices. This is a combination of how GitHub and Vanta work together, ultimately making it difficult to do benign automations that shouldn't need human review, and forcing us to do more complicated workaround for no security benefit.

The amoun of integrations offered with other tooling makes Vanta a valuable and time saving complaince offering

Issues with the Workspace One integration have caused us to rely on the Vanta agent only for reporting

Mostly it's quite well laid out..........

Creates very heavy email traffic for all users which undermines its usefulness and reduces productivity

Platform is exceptional. Sell process is aggressive.

The platform just gives you everything you need. Nothing manual.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to the audit process everything is not with Vanta. Their partner that helps with document with a free VIP is not the best. It's a VIP but you feel the opposite. Even the pen test is not as was sold to us. Only one domain.

Shows you all id your compliance status on a glance. Focuses you in what's important.

Some processes were dependent on others and it was quite difficult to follow up
