Vanta has an excellent user interface, making it easy to use, and the availability of helpful resources is a great advantage.

The customer support response can be a bit delayed at times.

One place to manage documents for audits. Evidence and supports compiles easily. Easy to access and intintegrate into systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta was easy to "plug and play" right out of the box. An ever increasing number of integration options make the implementation nearly seamless. With minimal effort we were able to assess our baselines of compliance in frameworks critical to our industry. Bi-weekly meetings with a customer success manager really helped us strategize our limited capacity on big ticket items. I review Vanta everyday to ensure we are regularly making progress towards our compliance and security goals. We are in the infancy of our Trust Center use and already seeing a positive trend in traffic with plans to implement the beta revenue impact module. Recent introduction of an AI based Trust Center chat bot is also really intriguing. We love to see the continued dedication to product growth with a trusted partner!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations require a dedicated SSO like Okta or atlease one that supports a SCIM bridge (currently unavailable for our Google Workspace). Seeing how well the integration works in the realm of onboardin, offboarding, and access reviews makes them a bit of a tease but we manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Vanta we lacked a lot of compliance required policies, controls, and processes. Vanta's policy builder as well as their controls, tests, and documentation tracking have made a huge impact to our baseline compliance requirements. From fixing what was broken or outright missing, to mainting configuration management on cloud hosted tools ensuring we don't regress in compliance when assessing changes.

A thoroughly well designed system with many out of the box solutions.

After using the sytem for a numbetr of months, I cant think of anything negative about the Vanta system or its support staff.

There are a couple of changes that need to be done in quick time with other modules e.g. Having the ability to edit picklist options after a Risk item has been entered.

The GRC control is awesome and the simplicity of its use is crazy.

The downside for Vanta is the integrations with more XDRs and security solutions.

Excellent Regulatory Compliance Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The organization that provides documentation for regulatory compliance is very useful. The interface is easy to handle and very intuitive, the "starter guide" is an excellent starting point for those of us who had no experience. The integrations are very easy to perform and work as they should. While it is not perfect, the Ilma bot can answer 95% of the questions you have as long as you formulate the question appropriately, it is truly an excellent support tool, and those it cannot resolve are quickly escalated to an operator. The risk assessment system is remarkable, as is the "trust center" that is offered starting from a certain percentage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being part of a Spanish-speaking company, we have encountered a significant limitation when developing policies and documents. At the time of this review, the web interface of the platform is only in English. Although the language can be configured in both the "company" and "my account" sections, this does not change anything in the interface. The main problem this causes is when generating policy templates in Spanish, as we have to invest time in a process to adapt the translation and the meaning of the text to align them with the company. This requires considerable time and must be taken into account when planning progress.
The Vanta agent offered as a solution really cannot be recommended; it would be pertinent to integrate an MDM solution. It takes a long time to acquire the information and only detects encryption by BitLocker.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem for Vanta is the translation of its document templates into Spanish. This creates a considerable extra workload that affects the project timelines. Some exceptions, such as in the case of teams that are encrypted by a solution other than BitLocker, are tedious to complete since the Vanta agent does not detect them.
