Using Vanta for compliance management has been an excellent experience
What do you like best about the product?
The platform's automated tools and user-friendly interface make it incredibly efficient to manage and monitor compliance with various standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Vanta's real-time alerts and continuous monitoring help us identify and address issues promptly, ensuring that we maintain a high level of security and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I noticed. all functions are clear.

Vanta significantly improves our compliance and security processes, providing peace of mind and enabling us to operate more efficiently and effectively.
Streamlined ISO 27001 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Vanta is its intuitive interface combined with powerful automation features. The platform’s ability to automate evidence collection and provide real-time tracking of compliance progress significantly reduces the manual workload and makes the entire ISO 27001 compliance process more efficient and manageable. This blend of user-friendliness and robust functionality ensures that even complex compliance tasks are streamlined and easily navigable, allowing for a smoother path to achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit difficult to run true internal audits and make comments on individual areas in line with controls you are assessing, and only can run audits at the policy/document level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comprehensive, centralised collection of ISMS and related evidence.
Everything was incredibly easy review and manage which is important in my role as CEO.
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to understand and review the documents I need to check off and add feedback on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a more user friendly mobile option. Which is very minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Vanta to manage our SOC Type II certification process and ongoing compliance.
Collaboration on Vanta is like a breeze.
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta offers an easy-to-use user interface combined with clear and thorought guides leading us step by step thoughout the whole period of our audit process. The custom support is great and responds rapidly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides of Vanta up till now. We've encountered several small bugs that was remediated immediately.

Vanta helps us establish the foundation of our compliance and save time when communicating with auditors.
Seamless compliance process with Vanta!
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is super easy to use and straightforward. If you don't have a compliance background, the platform does a good job guiding you through everything you need to achieve multiple compliance frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some tests, it is hard to deactivate them / or takes manual decativating, but aside from that, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us get through our SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance processes. They also have the Trust Center which is pretty seamless which we use.
It actually works for you as promised
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta removes the complexity required to do an ISO certification and makes it available to small teams like mine, ensuring you won't die in tons of paper and endless checking processes. The automated controls, which are connected to your apps (very easily), the tests, and the framework to control all the ISO elements are excellent. And the implementation was super easy. It keeps track of things for you; you have to log in and do your daily work (if needed).

What do you dislike about the product?
Unclear pricing renewal: I expected a lot more clarity on the split between Vanta and the auditors. The overall price might be the same or not, but it is unclear and doesn't match the initial promises. It's still worth the money, but from an excellent product, you'd expect excellent management of administrative tasks. Something changes internally, but they failed to communicate properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified the process to get the ISO 27001 and kept track of all the work needed, bringing us from step 1 (understanding how) to being certified in less than 6 months.
They also selected the auditor for us and privately managed the payment.

Easy-to-Use Platform (Vanta Trust Center).
Teams at Vanta are supportive, attentive and receptive to feedback.
The tool is constantly growing, always logging in to find cool new features.
Become part of daily operations here very quickly and adoption from the wider teams has been phenomenal.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilise Vanta as our Trust Center, where our customers can visit to get self-serve information on our security, privacy and Compliance programmes to help them fulfil their own vendor assements.

The effectiveness of the tool with it's many integrations and automated tests that enable efficient, timely and hassle free compliance and knowledge that your info-sec is continuously monitored

The navigation was updated durinf audit, but this was a minor inconvenience and could be toggled on/off.

- user roles are limited and editing their rights is not included in the main subscription tier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing for security compliance certification is a complex and burdensome from admin point of view process. Moreover, when a company wants to do a certification on several frameworks that span accross geographies, but do have overlap, it becomes even more challenging to have efficient security management process and avoid redundant work. Vanta is great in doing exactly this - helps you to focus on the important things, provides clear guidance on what and why needs to be done, as well as where it has an impact and relevance. We use three frameworks, and are getting ready for SOC 2 certification, as at the same time we want to make sure that we are HIPAA and GDPR compliant as well. It saves us a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's interface is clean and fast, which is a refreshing change from other similar tools I've used in the past. The product works flawlessly in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations, particular AWS, could be more customizable. For example, instances in auto-scaling groups can be difficult to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been helping us consolidate several large spreadsheets into a more dynamic, web-based system.
