It's a ready-made book of all the compliance requirements with clear guidelines in user-friendly language.

The product looks complete and it helps a lot with the automatizations it has.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the eassy integration of all of my infraestructure and the detail of the reports about the compliance i have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing by framework.It makes it expensive to apply to another framework that may ask for the same compliance than the one you already have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the manual work of having to implement ISO27001 and having to organize and review all the paperwork.

Easy to use, comprehensive in its offering, excellent docs/customer success and good add-on selections as you need to expand your security posture/offering

We were tasked with achieving SOC 2 type 2 and Vanta is helping us achieve and maintain that security standard. This assists immensely in the sales process.

- Customer Success varies in quality from time to time
- United States oriented company, and thus templates are sometimes opinionated for the US.

Great solution and even better support
What do you like best about the product?
As an HR specialist, I'm in any way an expert in security apart from GDPR-related issues. Vanta allowed me to make sure our employees have all the necessary controls and MFAs in place in an easy way. In case of facing any trouble, the Vanta Support team, especially Paige, was super helpful and quick with their responses. I use Vanta on a daily basis now and I'm satisfied with the controls provided and instructions attached.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are not clearly addressed in the documentation or in the description. Missing points were quickly caught by the support.

Vanta helps my company to go through the first and following steps of Security compliance.

The company doesn't come across as predatory like some other companies. In the sales process they were confident in their position yet understanding. They have a mature product and are improving it constantly. Easy to use UI.
I mostly appreciate how they were the true innovators in this space. I like the founder story. It's a company you feel good about doing business with - not some copycat that is just super well funded.

What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a huge deal, but their progress bar for compliance doesn't truly represent the progress you've made. You can do a lot of work and it might not show the progress, but then complete something else, and it's weighted heavily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting SOC2 Type 2 - helps with communicating trust to enterprise customers.
A good tool to understand how far or near you are in order to achive the soc2.

Allow team work. It is easy to assign tasks to the relevant people.

Having advice from your account manager.

Some clients are asking the soc2, this is a good way for an European company to achieve the proccess.

Automated monitoring & outstanding support from getting setup to getting SOC2 certified
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so much of a downside, but a nice to have - there are aspects to the SOC2 compliance process that seemed impossible to address without consulting with Vanta's (outstanding) support. What would be even better is to be able to get stuff done without relying on support. I use 'support' loosely to stand for customer success, auditor support and all human touchpoints

Getting our systems and processes to be ready for a SOC2 certification and then actually getting certified through their auditor partners

Vanta puts our security processes on autopilot. They decreased our time to SOC 2Type2 compliance 10x. I'm confident that with a growing hybrid team our security still stays strong.
