Vanta has been an incredibly useful tool for the SOC 2 audit process.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how well it is organized and how easy it is to see what else needs to be done to help progress the audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta can feel a bit overwhelming at times, but I believe that is more an issue with the audit process than the software presentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is being used to guide us through the SOC 2 Type 2 audit process. It helps manage and organize the process for us as well as connecting us to potential auditors.
Vanta has made tracking compliance drastically easier.

i'm uncertain if it is due to the way we set it up but the lack of a single sign on between vanta and our background vendor CERTN

Pricing: It’s a solid investment, but for smaller HR teams or startups, the cost might be a tough sell without an immediate compliance need.

The automated evidence collection and integrations saved us hours of manual work. Vanta's intuitive dashboard made it easy to track progress and identify gaps in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's tough to find where exactly everything lives. The menu on the left-hand side continues to grow every day. They need to find a way to not have 30+ options on the main menu. Easier "how to remediate" for some controls / tests

Vanta gives me clear guidance on what needs to be checked and when. Instead of guessing or chasing scattered tasks, I get a structured view of what’s required for compliance. It keeps us organized and focused, which saves a lot of time and reduces the stress of preparing for audits.

Intuitive User Interface: The platform is known for its clean and easy-to-navigate dashboard, which provides a clear overview of compliance status and outstanding tasks. This makes it accessible even for users without a deep security background - like me!

It's pretty costly. Worth it in the beginning but maybe after a few hours the cost might be questionable per its value to understanding the compliance framework.

I find Vanta incredibly easy and straightforward to set up, which is crucial for our operations. The ability to connect various systems and receive actionable suggestions almost out of the box is a huge advantage. The platform effectively centralizes our compliance efforts, simplifying management and enhancing our efficiency. I find the automatic checks and the AI-driven questionnaire features exceptionally beneficial. Vanta AI stands out as a pivotal tool, and its current and potential use of AI is impressive. The trust center and questionnaire section are extremely useful, enhancing our overall workflow.

Sometimes is not fully clear on the usage and it’s difficult to find things.

I use Vanta to centralize compliance efforts, simplifying policy maintenance and third-party risk management. Its easy setup and automatic checks streamline tasks, while AI features enhance efficiency.
