Great product, simple to use and easy interface
What do you like best about the product?
Software is intuitive and easy to use for putting in place measures to achieve SOC2 compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Renewal terms were initially onerous but we worked with our sales rep to find a creative solution that worked for all sides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying the SOC2 registration and audit process.
Vanta makes security and audits easy
What do you like best about the product?
Passing a SOC2 audit can initially be a very daunting task for a startup. Vanta made the entire process easy, with simple integrations, fantastic customer support and stakeholder relationship management, and useful policy and procedure templates to work from. It was easy to implement and has made keeping up with security best practices part of our day to day processes without adding much overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features require additional payment to unlock and the cost is too high for our startup to justify (e.g. access reviews).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta limits the amount of evidence we have to manually supply our auditors by allowing them to find this evidence directly in the platform instead. They also provide all the control, test, document, and policy frameworks that are needed for any standard audit, so that we don't have to spend time setting all that up.

None so far, however maybe better pricing bundles

Vanta is easy to use. All of our compliance activities are centralized in one location and integrated with our other platforms. We were up and running quickly

I can't think of anything I dislike about Vanta.

Establishing and maintaining SOC2 as well as GDPR compliance

The platform is easy to use and the built in template creations & tests are a game changer for a team wanting to start something from scratch.

Some learning curve, but a lot less than using traditional audit methods. They have training courses that were helpful to overcome this also.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, price is competitive. Customer Support is excellent, with fast response times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recent change decoupled their Trust Center, so we had clients unable to access the portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 Type 2 compliance tracking, off-boarding of employees.

The most important feature is compliance artifacts which make compliance framework management easy

Pricing and sometimes search capability/experience are not great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using this tool to obtain and maintain annual compliance specifically SOC 2 Type 2 certification. Maintaining evidence on a regular basis is a big task from the compliance perspective and Vanta is helping us to do that. Also, we were using it for cloud (AWS) compliance and internal audit and sometimes for vendor management.
Vanta is fairly easy to use especially given the complexity of SOC compliance

Finding the menu selection that you are looking for isn't always intuitive

It is allowing us to obtain SOC II compliance

The ability to view a dashboard and see exactly where we might be lacking with either documentation, a security check or a report etc is invaluable and makes it move along very quickly in the compliance journey.

Pricing can get get high with the modules

Helping us get our new product SOC 2 compliant - to be able to be sell in cloud marketplace.
Vanta is an excellent tool for tech literate indivduals

Vanta helps us make sure we meet our compliance obligations from a legal perspective as well as the procedures and policies outlined within our organization specifically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the critical features that are necessary to complete some of the challenging tasks related to our compliance needs are behind a paywall and sold as an additional feature, such as the asset review utililty.

Ensuring that regulatory reviews of our security posture are being adhered to.
