What do you like best about the product?
It is a very powerful software.
Makes preparation for certification very easy
Has lots of useful tools / dashboards to be able to clearly see your progress and complete all the gaps
The templates provided were extremely helpful
The online help and chat is great
Our SME / Account Manager Kyle is always extremely helpful and very responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing i can think of, they recommended another consultant to give us 30 days of support, And they had very helpful step by step project plans.
If Vanta could provide a project plan, with detailed tasks, step by step guide, that would be very helpful

Good product - pricing model seems a bit confusing at times.
What do you like best about the product?
Constant view of HIPAA status. Easy to produce reports and share information

Pricing of "new" features that seem to be still in beta

What do you like best about the product?
I like having something that manages what's required and it's clear on what needs to be done. I also appreciate how it tracks the permissions on everyone's computers. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be more detailed and specified permissions. Right now it seems like there's only admin or not, but it would be good to have ownership by team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for organizing SOC 2 audits, knowing what's required, and managing responsibilities. It's clear on needed tasks and tracks permissions on everyone's computers.

Integration of multiple modules to accelerate compliance, increased visibility on the health status of systems, centralization, etc.

Must manually translate since some sections are not available in French.

Great tool for organizing compliance-related documentation and audit evidence.

Their support team! Also, integrated audit tracking for policy acceptance, onboarding and offboarding. Risk assessment and Access review features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several pieces of Vanta that are non-obvious from the interface UI, in the first few months of using it, I spent a great amount of time in their documentation and communicating with Support.

Organizing everything we need for audit evidence in one place, keeping it up to date and reminding us when time-sensitive tasks are due.

Vanta’s built in frameworks and tools make it very straightforward to visibly align your policies documentation etc with ISO, SOC etc

No real issues, more native integrations would be great.

A streamlined path to compliance with minimal friction
What do you like best about the product?
At my current company, we used Vanta primarily to achieve SOC 2 type 2 compliance within a six month deadline as part of our growing into the US market. Our team especially in DevOps and Security used Vanta almost daily to monitor compliance readiness, track audit progress and also manage tasks. What I like best about Vanta during this use case was it’s a real time monitoring dashboard combined with pre-build integrations for Github, AWS and Jira. The customer support team was also very responsive. For one of my complex issues, they scheduled a quick zoom call without any delay. Thanks to Vanta, we had cross functional visibility as our security leads, engineering teams, and even HR could view and track their tasks on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge we faced was the rigid mapping of some integrations. For example, our custom CIC pipelines and get her action were not fully recognised by Vanta is automated checks we had to manually upload some of the audits artifacts to simulate compliance evidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From an engineering perspective, the integration with our code repository and cloud infra meant few interruptions, we did not need to stop during an audit cycle. The data was already being monitored and aggregated. Overall Vanta didn’t just helped us pass our audit, it helped us build a culture of ongoing compliance with minimal frictions
