Effortless Compliance Tracking with Seamless Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta to track compliance and upload relevant evidence, which helps us be ready for annual security audits like PCI, ISO, and SOC2. I like the easy-to-use interface and appreciate the integrations with AWS and other SaaS apps, which check for compliance automatically. The system periodically checks if the environment we have integrated is compliant with different compliance frameworks. I've heard the initial setup is easy, although I wasn't the one who did it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Vanta could use more automation options, like automating evidence uploading and taking screenshots of evidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to track compliance and ready us for audits. It gives us assurance for annual security checks like PCI, ISO, SOC2.
Great UX That Simplifies a Complex Industry
What do you like best about the product?
Great UX and they simplify things in a complex industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the same time, it's still complex. Not Vanta itself, but there are a lot of complex features and things in this industry which makes Vanta still not so easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us get certified in SOC2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, great security functionality. Links into trust centres and pulls out security information easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have all the functionality to add due diligence questionnaires in separate sections to then send to different people in an organisation to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completing vendor management activities such as Due diligence.
Fantastic Compliance Tool That Saves Time with Automated Testing
What do you like best about the product?
It is a fantastic compliance tool, with automated testing & process steps that save a lot of time, but also provide a fantastic framework to work within.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any so far - we use it for ISO, GDPR & Cyber Essentials Plus, and it works very well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small start up business, and do not have the headcount to do all of the adminstration work needed to be compliant, so Vanta is a massive help in providing automation, structure and process management that makes this incredibly efficient as well as ensuring we are compliant.
Intuitive, Easy to Use with Reliable Integrations and Helpful Evidence Checks
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy to use. The AI assistant helps verify the quality of evidence submissions. It also offers wide, reliable integrations with many tools. Controls are described in a holistic way, with good examples and, in some cases, templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI assistant feels pretty basic as it mostly flags obvious missing items and doesn’t really go deep. The access management module is also very limited. On top of that, there’s a lot of upsell pressure, since you have to upgrade the entire plan just to unlock what should be basic features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps me manage our ISMS in a structured and efficient way by centralizing compliance work and automating many controls through integrations, which significantly reduces the amount of manual evidence collection and repetitive tasks I need to do.
Simplifies Compliance with User-Friendly Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use of Vanta's platform. It helps me manage complex processes easily, saving me time and keeping things organized so nothing gets lost. I find it beneficial to track various controls and their statuses, which makes it easier to get certifications and provide evidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the integrations and the user management are not very intuitive. Some of the integrations are intuitive, but setting up Astra security integration, for example, was not intuitive. The onboarding process was a bit complex, with a large number of tasks to complete. It would have been helpful to have sessions from Vanta's customer success team upfront to understand the product, but they came much later on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to organize all tests and controls in one place and set up a trust center visible to clients. It saves me time by managing complex processes easily and tracking controls for certifications.
Intuitive Compliance Tool with Seamless Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been very intuitive simple to use - it links up to most of the tools we use, making onboarding and offboarding employees much easier. I appreciate how it syncs with things like Google, HubSpot, and Notion, so we know when an employee leaves which tools to close down. It also connects with Google, GitHub, and Jira. The initial setup was very easy, and we were able to start using it within a day or two.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us with compliance and renewal, providing general security oversight. It solved problems in auditing and showcasing our SOC 2 compliance. We use it to build trust with prospective clients by gaining confidence in our security setup.
Powerful Integrations and Automations for Testing
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations and automations for tests etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to see a preview of documents and test that we have to fulfill for other Frameworks that we have not bought yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the documentation requirements for the ISO 27001 were solved for us through documentation of everything directly in Vanta. Especially the mapping between the Tests and Documents with the requirements of the ISO 27001 is very helpful for the certification process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Vanta for SOC 2 compliance as it primarily solves the problem of replacing manual spreadsheet-based compliance with automation. It connects directly with my infrastructure like AWS, which is a significant plus. The tool saves me from audit fatigue since I don't have to stop coding for a week just to prepare for auditors. I appreciate that the evidence is already collected, timestamped, and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations are breadth over depth. They might check if S3 bucket is public, but won't necessarily help with complex multi-cloud logic or niche DB configurations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for SOC 2 compliance, automating manual processes and eliminating the need for spreadsheet-based tracking. It connects directly with my infrastructure like AWS, saving audit fatigue and allowing us to continue coding without interruption.
Easy to Use, Great Support, and Helps Divide Tasks Across the Team
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to interact with, and the support is very good. It also helps with dividing tasks across the whole team. super easy to integrate, at least if we using azure
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes they are very persistent, and the company’s pace doesn’t always match the pace of the task (not everything). At times, we need to create new ways of working to keep things moving.
