Good software and does an excellent job of finding vulnerabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Very good at finding vulnerabilities and guiding you through the document collecting and requirements for the chosen compliance frameworks (we do HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2). Support was rarely required (only two tickets in 18 months) and they were quick to get resolutions. The product is simple to use and implementation was painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to do with Vanta. We were unable to assign the necessary resources to preparing for the audit. But Vanta got us a long way through the process. Do not underestimate the readiness tasks and be sure to allocate the necessary resources.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have urgent customer requests to maintain SOC2 and GDPR compliance on an ongoing basis. Vanta helped us in not only gaining compliance but in our ability to demonstrate it.
Compliance tool that saves me a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the integrations and the ability to save documents for the auditors. My first time configuring the software was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations are great, until they break. So there is continual maintenance involved. But I can say that trying to manage compliance without such a tool is much harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us get ready for audits, share evidence with the auditors, and maintain compliance ongoing.
Easy SOC2 implementation with Vanta's great user experience
What do you like best about the product?
We're using Vanta to gain SOC2 certificate and so far it is awesome experience. Everything is simply organized into different types of "objects" such as controls, tests, policies and documents. It has its own MDM that satisfies our needs. Other modules such as Vulnerabilities, Risk management, Vendors, Access control and Inventory are very useful and work as intended.
It has most of integrations we needed in order to implement SOC2.
So far we thinks Vanta made our process of achieving certificate quite fast and simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I can complain about, few bugs but they were resolved in reasonable time.

We are getting and maintaining SOC2 certificate via Vanta.

Powerful integrations with your services like InTune to assist in capturing evidence automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very clear in terms of where to start or how the journey should look. We have additional support through Cognisys and that has made the world of difference in terms of having a company guide us and answer questions on the templates Vanta provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a fully functional ISMS to ensure we're progressing through ISO27001 faster then using anything else.

The most helpful with vante are the clear dashboard, easy to connect in different Saas Platform.

When you sync Vanta with your ID Provider, is not easy to manage sync offboarding action.

Vanta is solving all SOC 2 and Iso27K compliance, it's very benefic before and during an Audit.

I absolutely love Vanta's user interface! It is so sleek, modern, and easy to navigate. The layout is intuitive and well-designed, making it a breeze to access all of the features and tools that Vanta has to offer. I particularly appreciate how visually appealing the UI is, with its clean design and user-friendly controls. Overall, I find Vanta's UI to be a standout feature that greatly enhances my experience with the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving the challenge of managing compliance for businesses by streamlining and automating the process. This is benefiting me by saving time and resources that would have otherwise been spent manually tracking compliance requirements and ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to meet regulatory standards. With Vanta, I can rely on their platform to keep track of compliance tasks, generate reports, and provide guidance on what needs to be done to stay in compliance. This allows me to focus on other aspects of my business knowing that our compliance needs are being met efficiently and effectively. Overall, Vanta's solution for managing compliance has provided me with peace of mind and confidence in our ability to meet regulatory requirements.
User-Friendly Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have already used different audit platforms but Vanta is quite easy to use and very user-friendly. It took me only about a couple of days to learn how to use the Vanta platform, while it took me a longer time to learn how to use the other platforms, and still, I can't find them as user-friendly as the Vanta platform. It is very easy to navigate and downloading information is quite fast.
Also, the response of the Support team is really fast and my concern was resolved immediately. Thanks!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I see generating/downloading a big file in excel format, as there is a limit in the number of rows, which I believe is also true with the other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of the use of the Vanta platform helps me conduct auditing of security compliance faster.
Vanta is a great aid for small or medium-sized companies who are concerned about security
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has helped us achieve the ISO 27001 certification by doing some of the heavy lifting involved in this security certificate: Document storage, automated tests, expiration reminders, policy templates and guidelines... Being a small-sized company, we are conscious of the resources we must dedicate to keep our ISMS in good shape, and Vanta takes away from our team a great deal of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta's Risk Management did not map efficiently with our RM procedures, so we are not using this part of the application.

Automation of contol monitoring and labor saving through control cross walks.

Management of users via groups and checklists is not effective due to 1 to 1 relationships

Managing compliance in a cost effective manner with limited staff to ensure quality of security processes and supporting sales through proof of the existence and quality of our security program.
