Not the cheapest SOC2 automation platform, but it's the best
What do you like best about the product?
They really do make it easy to figure out everything you need to do to get your SOC2 certification. The connections to Google Suite, Slack, AWS, etc and the continuous monitoring mean that you're never out of compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still had to hire a third-party person to help us set up all of the controls. This isn't Vanta's fault as there's just a lot that goes into getting SOC2, but I think they could've suggested that or mentioned it during the sales process as I made it clear I had no idea what I needed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We lost a contract because we didn't have our SOC2 certification, and even contracts that were willing to work with us took way longer to sign that necessary. Getting SOC2 was a way to speed up our sales cycle and close more deals and Vanta helped us do that
Good costumer support and security
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta Support was quick on answering my emails and helping me set up everything correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure what I dislike about Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that data is secure in data-sensitive products, making easier to manage that all the people involved are informed of what can be done.
One-stop shop for SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI. The monitors and controls let you be on top of the progress that you are making in the compliance journey. This is really helpful for both the individual users of the platform as well as the management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The policy framework was too cumbersome for small startups such as ourselves. They can definitely incorporate GenAI into these textual processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us get to SOC 2 compliance with the integrated dashboard and the underlying monitors and controls. The interim GAP report was also really helpful for trust building.
Vanta made the ISO 27001 achievable for a small team
What do you like best about the product?
The Vanta interface is simplistic and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Vanta agent sometimes gives false alarms about an employee's workstation. It does not always happen, but it can be annoying when it happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta streamlines the ISO 27001 certification requirements so that even for a first-timer like myself could get all the prep work for the audit ready in 4 months.
Great platform to get everything ready to get any compliance certification
What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX is fantastic. It is easy to understand what needs to be done. Integrations work perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price for small companies is too high.

Solve the problem of gathering evidence. Better control of everything that needs to be done. Time-saving.
A Solid Tool for SOC2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is very easy to use and is quite affordable for achieving and maintaining SOC2 compliance. The support staff is helpful and responsive, and the integrations available are easy and maintainable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta lacks integrations today for many common tools, including Zoom and Box. That means there's no easy way to keep track of these things regarding SOC2 policy compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is allowing us to be SOC2 compliant, a key requirement many customers need in order to sign with us.
Vanta: Helpful and Useful
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta offers hundreds of easily accessible tools for meeting HIPAA compliance. They also provide hands-on help from representatives with challenges in meeting compliance goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta has numerous resources to help new users onboard with their product, however a lot of those resources are outdated, and don't match the current Vanta layout, making it a little harder to find what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us meet HIPAA compliance. Since there are so many requirements for meeting HIPAA compliance, it's easy to lose track of what needs to be done. Vanta helps us prioritize those compliance requirements promptly and provides many helpful resources.
Huge time saver
What do you like best about the product?
After the initial setup and integration of all of our services, Vanta saved us hundreds of hours compared to our audits from previous years. The service just continues to streamline our security management processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing negative to share about the vanta platform.

Vanta helps my team coordinate security management issues across dozens of services and processes and centralizes what, how and when our team needs to respond to new and evolving security issues in order to stay SOC2 compliant.

The timing for which specific controls needed to be completed, within audit window or not, was sometimes unclear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They helped setup our infrastructure, policies and controls for achieving our SOC 2 Type II certification. Thanks to Vanta we are continuously monitoring our controls in real-time.
