Best tool for compliance maintenance and monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Feature rich and user centric design which helped us to easily access the software very frequently without any issue. We found support team very helpful during and post implementations. We also found that the tool intgrates easily with every infra used within our organization for monitoring varoious compliances.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not find anything to dislike in vanta. The tool is well built for the compliance monitoring purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us to maintain and monitor our security posture. This helps us to get the SOC2 Type2 certification very quick which builds great trust with our customer.

What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to use and intuivitive. Integrated well with exisiting tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular comes to mind. It served our purpose well.

What do you like best about the product?
We like Vanta because its very easy to use and understand and helps us keep track of our security environment, we use it as our one-stop shop for all of our frameworks, and the integrations are great as they allow us to automate many of the controls we need to meet for our frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dont have much to dislike about vanta, I wish access reviews were easier done and not behind an additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and understanding of the various controls for our frameworks

What do you like best about the product?
Keeping SOC 2 records, sending notifications when something needs addressing. Easy to use.

Rippling integration and getting workstation info with that has a few issues.

Helping us remain SOC2 Type 2 compliant.
Stress Free Approach to SOC 2 Certification
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta guides you step by step through the process for SOC 2 certification. They take what has been described as an onerous process for SOC certification and made it quick and easy with their step by step software based approach. It is easy to follow, you know exactly what to do and they provide resources to help you develop teh internal policies and procedures for compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Vanta automates the process, there were a few times were the software is requesting docuimentation for soemthing that ios not applicable in our business. A few calls to our rep solved helped explain the process and resolve these issues immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business, we need to ensure we have the appropriate safeguards and ploicies in place to protect our own and any external cusotmer data we come into contact with. By going through the SOC2, Type 2 certification with Vanta, we have positioend ourselves to be responsible custodians of the acquired and is a marketable advantage compared to others operating in our space.

The product is so well thought out. It was easy to setup, configure and manage.
Compliance was a big black box for us till we implemented Vanta. They broke it down to doable steps over a set timeframe, and it helped us a lot

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. The team has been fantastic to work with.

It's keeping a track of our security and compliance policies.
Vanta makes compliance easy!
What do you like best about the product?
With zero experience, I was able to get my company SOC2 Type 2 audit ready in less than two weeks. Everyone at the company that I've interacted with has been fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of tests were lacking direction on how to resolve them, more detail could be added to tests that require changes in AWS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 Type 2 is difficult to navigate, Vanta makes ite easy.

What do you like best about the product?
The Vanta team has thought through all of the possible ways a business may need help in every aspect of data security, from detailed project planning, to continuous monitoring to keep us in check, and to templates that make staying update on policies and procedures super easy. It's the total package.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are about to need to become HiTrust certified and we wish that we could have used Vanta on the next step in our security journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping us secure in a real time monitoring manner that gives our current and potential clients comfort that we are indeed secure.

The customer service was responsive and respectful of our company's work schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a misunderstanding with Vanta initially regarding the scope of the privacy compliance process. Our expectations were set for a more comprehensive consultancy than was initially delivered. However, after this was clarified, Vanta responded by assigning more hands-on consultants to our project, greatly enhancing and streamlining the entire process.

Vanta - A mission critical system for achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a mission critical system to enable us to remain SOC 2 compliant. It has integrations with all of our systems, from our cloud hosting provider (GCP), to GitHub, to Rippling (our HR software) and more. It raises actionable alerts that we routinely monitor and respond to. Overall the setup is extremely easy to implement and use. The support team has also been steller, helping us pick up new compliance solutions (e.g., HIPAA) where appropriate. Right now we're in our audit period for SOC 2 and I use the product every day. It's extremely user friendly and all the alerts come with actionable, step-by-step feedback to correct them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about Vanta. Maintaining SOC 2 compliance without this kind of tool would be a nightmare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us stay SOC 2 compliant, which is extremely important as we sell our product to large organizations who really care about that compliance.
