Among the many remarkable features Vanta Agent offers, the Vendor Risk Management module is my favorite. It has completely transformed our approach to evaluating and overseeing third-party risks. In the initial days, we felt that we met too many people after the sales team closed the deal, but after that, we only talking with one person.

Another thing is we would like to have Vanta support available during US times as well.

It is a one-stop solution for our SOC2.

What do you like best about the product?

Vanta had a clear list of what needed to be done for an audit, making it easy to keep track of everything. It was nice to keep track of progress when working towards two different frameworks. The notifications for upcoming tasks in Vanta are helpful; we do not need to create reminders in various locations.

The Search capabilities across the site could be improved. During our time using Vanta, there were many changes to navigation, terms, and locations for documents and links.

Vanta has assisted our preparation for multiple audits and continues to help maintain our controls and policies. Now that we've completed all the tasks, the maintenance stage is saving us a lot of time.

Reduced manual labour for unliked repetetive tasks. The available integrations are great, but there could be some more available.
There is not much difference to the competitors from what I noticed, but Vanta had the better recommendations from other Startups related to us

Mostly - the cost
For what it does the yearly cost is pretty expensive. Either lower cost or more cost saving potential in easier automation would be way better

Continous evidence collection, reporting and documentation as well as alerting us when a new issue is detected
Policies can be published to be signed by our users

Process streamlining, ease of access for auditors, and 3rd party integration.

Some modules can be pricey, although this pales in comparison to a manual audit.

Vanta is streamlining our SOC 2 and GDPR audits which is saving us a ton of money and making the process relatively painless.

Fast, Easy and Cheapest solution. Their automated solution helps me to speed up to get a security compliance audit.

I don't have anything that I dislike about the product.

I needed to get SOC2 report as soon as possible. Vanta guides to me to seamlessly prepare all process.

Integration with other tools like cloud providers, identity managers, etc.

It takes time to find some features - as usual in the complex tools. Nothing that can't be achieved by training or working with the tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Security compliance and automation - getting a notification once there is an issue or action needed. Basically a lot of thing at one place.

The prompts are easy to follow - and while compliance is always time consuming, Vanta has an easy path to follow.

What do you dislike about the product?

Like most programs, there are no options to outsource the leg work.

SOC2 Compliance - allowing us to lock down our security and take on larger customers!

What do you like best about the product?

The guided workflow and pre-built policies and assets helped us setup and document our SOC2 program in 4 weeks. During the sales process they outlined exactly what we should expect and how we could achieve this timeline and the company and the solution delivered for us.

What do you dislike about the product?

It doesn't have integrations to our ADP HR system yet so that is the only gap we have found so far. I also think the email notification workflow could be more robust but neither of these have caused us issues or delays.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Vanta to achieve and maintain SOC2 Compliance. It provided the setup, policies and ongoing compliance monitoring for SOC 2 for our company. It was a well managed process for us.

What do you like best about the product?

Very easy user interface to work with. There's a ton of templates built in that help us get documentation ready for our Type 1 audit. And the CSM/auditors are knowledgable about both the process and platform to answer all questions we have.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly, not all that much. There's a lot of requirements to SOC 2 which is a pain to deal with, but that's not on Vanta.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vanta is getting us SOC 2 compliant - this allows us to have a higher level of data security for our customer data, which opens more doors for the company on potential customers.
