Amazing Experience with Vanta!
What do you like best about the product?
it simplifies the entire security and compliance process.

Security Awareness training is not upto the mark
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting certified for frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others can be incredibly challenging and take up significant time and resources. Vanta automates much of the process, making it quicker and more efficient. Instead of manually tracking everything, Vanta does a lot of the heavy lifting—automating evidence collection, monitoring systems, and creating reports.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been the most simple and easy to use automated governance, risks and compliance tool. The easy of implementation with the intuitive interface and seamless integration makes it great for all users from management to operationally.
Vanta is the go to tool, on a daily to day basis for getting stats and activtely monitoring compliance across various standards.
The customer sucess managers are always well informed and provide a wealth of know, excellent support on all aspects.

What do you dislike about the product?
There can be areas of Vanta that can be improved and innovated around the Privacy requirements, as areas of GDPR is worldwide.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation, integration, risk management and a strong customer support that gives us guidance and advice.
Well-executed integrations
What do you like best about the product?
By using the integrations built into Vanta for the cloud services we use, we kept our cycle times for going from notification to fixed very low.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more integration between some of the Document tasks and our ticket tracking system, e.g. for pentest remediation it would be nice to tag those cards as "pen test remediation" and have them automatically show up on the Document task. As it is, I need to gather all the URLs and/or screenshots manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In order to grow our business, we needed to quickly achieve compliance with multiple overlapping standards. Vanta helps us keep all the requirements straight and focus on exactly what matters.

What do you like best about the product?
Great user experience, easy to know what I need to do and take action on it to maintain compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like most things about Vanta - when initially setting up, it would have been nice to have a bulk jira ticket creation feature for all outstanding compliance issues and I logged that feedback

Vanta overall is a very good tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how it organizes and displays all the information and statuses, making it easier for us to achieve and maintain our SOC 2 cybersecurity posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish the AI component could automatically map specific policy documents and controls to each question when answering questionnaires—that would be a huge help. I also wish it wouldn’t flag obsolete or irrelevant vulnerabilities.

All things cyber security and SOC2 compliance.
Very intuitive for on both the user and MSP side
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta combines both simplicity and moduilarity with the way that test and documents can be assigned to dirrefent frameworks. The use of integrations enables customers to pull in data directly from their already established systems allowing for a much simplier audit process. Not only does it save time but the way Vanta works is great when using it on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta does have a good level of moudlarity, I think some features could be streamlined, like adding custom policies outside of Vantas policy builder can sometimes feel a little bit complicated, having to disable the test for Vantas inbuilt poicies and not being able to disable them in the policies section. Customer support is great most of the time, however with more complicated issues this can take a little bit longer than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to confidently send clients into aduit making internal auditing take alot less time than would be required from a manual review. External Audits are also much shorter in comaprison to manual ISMS and SOC 2 implemtation saving both consultants and company time.

I love vanta for their integration and aggregation with tons of places. Dashboards help me a lot for visibility

Actually nothing as a security engineer.

I am using this to view training status, inventory and aggregation of some data
Fantastic tool for compliance with a really helpful team behind it.
What do you like best about the product?
We came from a paper product created in spreadsheets with a few documents created on a whim from security consultants to something that actively tracked our status, helped us understand where we fell short and allowed us to grow our commitance to compliance in the organisation. It's hard to understate how important this tool is in my day to day work of both security and education of our users.
Implementation was quick and easy to understand and all of our internal systems that we wanted to track was integrated within a couple of days. The setup process was incredibly quick with great documentation and support from the team they assigned to us.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes could be a bit more fleshed out, as it is right now the basic functions cover our commitment and few of the add ons they offer has provided any exended function to us as a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were reliant on proprietary documentation that was hard to get a decent overview on, and also to maintain, update and share. Vanta pretty much solved all issues we've had with documentation around compliance.

Essential for streamlining security
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to categorize tasks to assign to different teams,its integrations with cloud platforms and ticketing systems and its AI tools providing "how to remediate" instructions for console and terraform are phenomenal. Makes security audit preparation a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking automation for creating tickets. Package vulnerability scan needs improvement, it scans metadata and creates false positives for disabled packages.

Automates many tasks and streamlines the workflow.
