Professional and helpful account executive
What do you like best about the product?
Our account exec was prompt, knowledgable, helpful and easy to access throughout onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, everything seems good. I wish it was a little cheaper but broadly pretty reasonably priced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for us to make sure we are compliant and helps with audits.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy by providing templates and guidance for each compliance requirement. The customer service is second to none and the people are excellent resources for any and all questions. They make this process exponentially easier and we couldn't do it without them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about the product or the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is providing the outline for all policies, procedures and steps needed to obtain SOC 2 and HIPAA certification.
Complex made easy
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it way easier for someone who is not a full-blown SOC engineer to drive SOC compliance within your business. It takes most of the guesswork out of it while still making templates available for documents or controls that you may not have in the business. Reaching out to customer support was super easy and the team was ready to help. It made the implementation and integration super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
At face value, there is a lot to take in, which can make Vanta intimidating. We struggled a little to gain direction and traction on where to start but after we built our own little check list on an excel document we were able to gain some direction and traction. A task list or better sorting feature within Vanta would be a massive help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta provides us a platform and solution to drive our SOC2 compliance within our business, without having to recruit a full time soc engineer that would talk geek and not business to achieve our SOC2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience using the platform and the excellent communication with the people who helped us get started, the Implementation manager and CSM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, we lacked visibility regarding the whole process and important dates. Also, we evaluated the suggested auditors, which were really expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us have much more visibility in the certification process regardless of the certification we aim for and allows us to see shortcuts for others.
Taking an overwhelming process and making it easy
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta organized a complicated process into an achievable plan! We could see some of the gaps in our systems and processes, then quickly address them to ensure we are ready for our audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta was a fantastic solution! There were a couple of annoying inconsistencies with monitors and some "out of scope" resources, which were quickly resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are preparing for several Security Compliance audits, and Vanta made the process seamless! The portal and entire support team were incredible and I couldn't imagine applying for compliance audits without them!
Best “people”, philosophy and core platform.

ISO is a hygiene factor; coordination and management of process; integrations; ongoing security management
Vanta - User friendly compliance assistance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy to manage and monitor user IT Compliance. It allows for seamless integration with my ID provider (Okta) , HR system, my MDM (Jamf) and all my connected integrations from Github, Asana, Slack, AWS and many more and allows me to easily see when users (especially those not on the MDM) are non-compliant with a security policy (HD encryption or Screen lock for ex) and provides useful instructions to share with users as to how to get them there. Support agents are always knowledgeable and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only confusion with Vanta is the varying check-in times for different tests (4 hours, 24 hours, etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta informs me about my new hires completing their security onboarding and policy acknowledgment requirements.
It keeps me up to date with users who need annual training recertification and gives me checklists for offboarding departed employees.
It brings to attention other cloud services risks. It's a great assistant in my work.

It's not always clear what is the next steps to follow, and so it take a little time to learn to navigate all the different elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are going through the process of obtaining SOC 2 Compliance. We are using Vanat to manage the whole process and prepare all the materials we need in preparation for the audit.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy for us to get on the right track when striving to comply with various standards and legislation.
What do you dislike about the product?
While an excellent platform, Vanta does change quite a bit often so you have to learn and adapt while you are using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes it easy for us to maintain an active inventory of endpoints and infrastructure. Furthermore, managing vendors becomes easy with Vanta. And lastly, Vanta keeps us on the right track when it comes to compliance.
Climb the certification mountain with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
They have a simple tool to track your level of completion in to acheive certification. This helped us stay movitivated. Every 1% increase kept us going and gave us a sense of progress along the way. The platform is ieasy to use and gave us almost 100% of what we need to get ISO certified. a few small things missing that might have just been the interpretation of the auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing was good as an early-stage company, but I'm concerned about the pricing in years 2 and 3 if we are not large enough to absorb the significant increase.

Acheiving Security certification standards and managing our ongoing compliance with standards to maintain secure systems.
