An fantastic guide for our audit process
What do you like best about the product?
The tool in itself is already very good, but what makes it even better is the support we receive from the team every time we have a question or need some clarification.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike anything about the product. Some areas could be a bit more polished, like the JIRA integration or the vulnerability management, but absolutely nothing major to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is definitely helping me in detecting which areas of my system are weak and need attention. The continuous monitoring is fantastic. Compared to past audits, this time I am not annoyed of doing it because I know exactly where to focus.
Overall it has been a great experience with Vanta in planning and preparing us to be SOC 2 T2 ready
What do you like best about the product?
Inreactions with advisors, account managers have been the most helpful and important part of the journey. They help guide us through the SOC process and expectations and how to effetively use the Vanta portal. Simplicity of the portal, examples, templates and step by step guidance on each tasks are great. Also, the vendor integration capability has been proven essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
The portal sometimes can be overwhelming for the first few weeks as teams are getting started to get familiar with the whole compliance process and having to work in the Vanta portal. However, this gets remedied by working closely with advisors via weekly calls and emails etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps streamline the SOC 2 T2 process, which would otherwise be too cumbersome and costly. As a result, our processes have been standardized and proper controls are in place.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been a blessing in preparing and guiding us through our first SOC 2 audit. Vanta offers many required templates and documents that can be time-consuming to collect and write. They also have a great team of dedicated professionals who are only an email away and will hop on a quick Zoom when needed. The platform offers great visibility into our compliance progress and allows us to export data into Vanta without issue. 10/10, I would recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I can think of now; I have no real complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting in compliance and getting our SOC2 completed.
Continuous security compliance monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
API connection testing notifies to fix issues immediately. Also, the remediation steps help navigate the issues. Automated testing also makes it super efficient. The percentage of control passing and the dashboard view is constructive to keep us on track in maintaining compliance regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connection issues are in progress, i.e., for Linux POP-OS registering the machine with the Vanta agent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer satisfaction, automation of working with auditors
Review of Vanta SOC II support services by a startup firm
What do you like best about the product?
I love how comprehensive and intuitive the platform is, and the customer support has been magnificent. The team is always responsive and even proactive in providing support to a brand new company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess if I had a recommendation for the continued enhancement of the offering, I'd suggest building out the templates for various documents a bit more deeply.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The solution helped us with our first SOC II audit and will continue to assist us as we go through a similar process each year. The Trust Dashboard also assists in in showing clients and prospects how concisely we are able to monitor our SOC II compliance real time.
Great onboarding experience by a team who understands the space well.

With so much content available on the platform, I would like to see a full platform-wide search functionality.

What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with an external content management system through the API could be improved. We use our product Zavanta (www.comprose.com), a Policy and Procedure content management system to manage the policies and procedures. We want to integrate with our Zavanta tool better through the Vanta API. Vanta does have it on its roadmap, so this should be mitigated soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta gave us a serious head start on the assignment of an auditor and step-by-step information on becoming SOC2/ISO 27001 certified. Vanta kept us from hiring another security resource and helped us quickly bring our in-house knowledge up-to-speed. Our time-to-audit was about one month for SOC2.
Seamless, efficient and effective.
What do you like best about the product?
Right from the get go, I felt at ease and not pushed to sign up. I was made aware of all the details of the SOC 2 program and got help at every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the experience has been great; so no complaints yet.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a huge fan. The support team are highly responsive and knowledgable with clearly excellent training and manner. The interface with audit firms is convenient. The product itself has a delightful user interface which is clearly well thought out. The way it wires together processes, controls, tests, documents and integrations provides real confidence. Its a vital tool for us and would have been impossible to achieve what we have without it. I know how hard it is to build software that seems simple and Vanta have nailed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a downside of the product more things i'd like it to do. I'd love a broader API to be able to wire this more into our business and for integrations it doesn't yet support. The opportunities to use it to monitor compliance with other areas of our business, to be able to use for iso90001, to be able to monitor and inforce compliance with more organisation wide runbooks. I feel that Vanta would really benefit from opening up a community around the product where those that are going through the process can swap/share stories and best practice and support each other. Being able to access a productboard or similar forward looking roadmap would be great

We wanted to be able to complete our ISO27001 and SOC compliance at pace. Its allowed us the structure and flow to be able to achieve this
