Vanta’s intuitive platform helped navigate the complex process of SOC 2 compliance, offering guidance and automation that significantly reduced manual effort.

While Vanta has been highly effective, there are areas where more personalized guidance would be beneficial. Additionally, expanding integration options with other tools we use could enhance our overall experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta addresses the complexities of achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance by automating evidence collection, continuous monitoring, and policy management. This has allowed us to not be greatly impacted by the compliance effort, and has reduced the stress of going through it.
Vanta makes a great on/offboarding a experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how to get a quick overview of actions to take when on/offboarding team members. In my experience this can be a really time consuming process but Vanta provides a simple and traigthforward approach to keep things neat and tidy.
It's a big win for our team to track and stay on top of vulnerabilities, plan for work and make sure we keep our systems together with high security and quality at all times.

What do you dislike about the product?
if there's something I could wish for, is some more delight in the UI, to celebrate when things get done and are in a tidy state. Confetti and rewards is nice to feel proud of accomplishments. How about some gamification options?

Vanta’s automation really cuts down on the manual work needed for compliance. The continuous monitoring helps us stay on track without constant oversight, and the interface makes audits and progress tracking simple.
Overall, the biggest benefits are saving time, reducing errors, and feeling more prepared during audits, so we can focus on our main work without getting bogged down in compliance details.

What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta is super helpful overall. The main drawback is that the automated alerts can get frequent and sometimes feel overwhelming. It would be great to have more control over notifications to cut down on the noise and make alerts easier to prioritize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta was a huge help in getting and keeping our SOC 2 certification. It simplifies compliance by automating evidence collection, tracking security controls, and giving clear guidance, which has saved us a lot of time and resources so we can focus on our main work.

Vanta is very useful for us to keep track of the security complainces that the engineering team needs to maintain. The UI is very simple and easy to use.

Although vanta claims to not track any personal activity/information, need more affirmation from them.

For security compilance, vanta is really simple and easy to use. It has integrations with all the major cloud providers

Automating these tasks allows the smaller Information Security team to efficiently handle ongoing compliance obligations and manage evidence without being overwhelmed, making the process more scalable across the organization.

Significant manual uploading of evidence was necessary for certain audit activities because the automated integrations did not always provide auditors with all the evidence they required.

Before using Vanta all pieces of evidence were scattered all over different spreadsheets and file shares depending on who last updated the evidence.

What do you like best about the product?
Automations and reminders enhance efficiency. The software is continually improving.

The risk section could go even further. However, improvements have been made recently.

I most like the inuitive UX. Also the ease with which certifications can be tackled is stunning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high number of features is sometimes a overhwelming and also the jumping between different sections when working on certifications. This means the different sections for the tests and the certifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solves our security onboarding and helps us to get IT-Certifications. This streamlines the whole employee onboarding. Furthermore, it is easier to get IT-Certifications enhancing our credibility.
