Used Vanta for ISO 27001 certification process
What do you like best about the product?
1. Templates for important documents that can be easily edited and set for review cycles. Saves a lot of time.
2. Tracked tasks to complete with solutions provided make it easy to work toward compliance.
3. Audit mechanism makes it simple to invite auditors to the platform and have them review our documents and systems

What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is self-service, it does still require somebody who has good judgement of what applies to your organisation to work on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to create policies, put security best practices in place, and manage our technical compliance. These allow us to comply with ISO 27001 requirements. The integrations in particular allow for the automated detection of issues with recommended solutions which is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is incredibly easy to use, with setting up integrations, looking at what controls you need to review, and looking at your risks, vulnerabilities, and vendors. It truly is a one-stop shop for enabling compliance with several security frameworks, such as SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, and HIPAA. The logic is that you comply once and apply to many. It's a fantastic product with great functionality. The support from the Customer Success Manager has been so valuable, and more importantly, they understand the product and how best to get the value out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this stage. I'm still trying to find things that annoy me, but so far, so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's enabling the organization to achieve SOC2. We are a small team and Vanta's streamlines and automates the process to an extent to issue we are on track in meeting our compliance obligations.
Solid Third Party Risk Management
What do you like best about the product?
Continuous Monitoring provided and expiry notifications to stay in compliance at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Woul dlike there to be additional features to manage our third-party providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients are financial institutions, in a highly regulated industry, where third-party risk management is paramount and on the forefront of their minds. The ability for Infinant to provide a high standard of risk management, with continuous monitoring along with PCI and SOC2 compliance has provided us with the ability to align very well to their bank's vendor management, info security and compliance teams.
It's about peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
As a healthcare technology provider, HIPAA compliance is critical to our business. It's nice to know at all times we are compliant (or an alert if we are not) and also good to be able to tell customers that we are third-party managed for compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the requirements for compliance are annoying, but it's worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without reliable HIPAA compliance, we would not have a business. It is a fundamental requirement of doing business with healthcare providers - our customers.
SOC 2 compliance management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provides me one platform to access all of my SOC 2 controls and easily address any issues. They provide timely reminders on upcoming items and send me emails so I don't forget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a chance to use their new risk management module. From what I could tell it will be easy- but I was used to the old design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop shop for SOC 2 compliance. It consistently monitors all my controls and alerts me if anything is in need of fixing.
Painless Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
They make compliance easier to manage and implement. You can utilize all of their integrations to automate compliance. For the integrations they don't have, they have proper documentation guidance to ensure your auditor's get what they need the first time around. I use the product everyday and the customer suppport is extremely responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more integrations but they already have more than competitors I've researched and are continuously working to add more. Plus the manual documentation comes with policy templates and additional guidance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decreases the cost of compliance so new companies can go to market faster. Lowers the barrier to entry for every market in terms of compliance. Game changer!
Easiest way to get your compliance work done.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy navigation and intuitive breakdown on what needs to be done to be compliant for each framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes lack of explanation on each compliance task makes it a little difficult to exactly know what are the best practices for compliance.

Getting SOC2 compliance/audit report. This is crucial to getting enterprise deals closed.
Wildly Beneficial Tool
What do you like best about the product?
There are two things that I absolutely love about Vanta more than any others.
1. The automation that it provides in the recording and collection of evidence.
2. The dashboard and daily monitoring alerts give you an idea of what's out of compliance and in need of action, which I find invaluable as someone who has myriad other responsibilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't really a knock on the platform, but since it's required to answer something that I dislike, I would say that I wish that the Trust Report section would be included. I understand the need for add-ons from a business standpoint, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier-to-use GRC software. We were looking for a solution that would help decrease our barrier to entry for 3rd party SOC 2 Type II certification. Vanta's breadth of integration points that do automated evidence collection is a huge problem that it has helped us solve.
Simple to use, pleasant to operate on
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's simple interface and yet power integration makes it a joy to use on almost a daily basis. With it, we achieved and maintain our SOC2 compliance status with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing on the product to dislike about, but the pricing can be more friendly :)

Vanta simplifies the compliance and vendor management process, making the SOC2 audit simpler for us and for the auditors.
