Saved a lot of time and auditor costs
What do you like best about the product?
It's was very easy to get set up and get started. It's was mostly intuitive to figure out what needed to be configured. The guides that tell you how to fix the errors were great to put into tickets and give to the Devops team. Auditors felt very comfortable getting things done without a lot of back and forth.
They have recently added PCI compliance, so we will be able to use them for multiple types of compliance further reducing our auditing costs and time sink.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some things like alerts and employee onboarding and offboarding we're not entirely complete when we started using the product, they were added shortly after and since their recent funding round I see more improvements.
Some newer services on aws weren't detected immediately due to some configuration on out side and some on Vantas. But support was quick to help and fix.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast SOC2 type 2 completion. Needed it done in 5 months. We were able to get there and also reduces our overall cost in engineering and auditing by at least 60%

Vanta for our SOC2 audit was amazing

Vanta has helped by company to write needed policies and streamline our documentation

The document templates are extremely helpful in allowing us not to start from scratch.

Lifesaver for SOC2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta automatically created a working list of where to focus our attention to become SOC2 compliant. Without Vanta, we would not have been able to get SOC2 compliant in such a short amount of time. Our monthly check-ins were espcially helpful to make sure we had all the things we needed to become compliant. They lined us up with auditors and penetration testers and really set us up for success. If you need some type of compliance, I would absolutely check Vanta out!
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard has since changed, but at first, I couldn't easily find the `needs attention` tasks. However, the new dashboard is great and has the filtering right at the top!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 Compliance. The list of things to prioritize and work on was invaluable since we had no idea what was required and what wasn't. Also, we get the weekly email about things we need to keep an eye on in order to keep our company in a complaint state along the way.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provided us a clear path to not only achieve our SOC II Type 1 Certification but to implement policies and practices we actually use day-to-day. It was straightforward to get set up, and we use it continuously. It truly helped us set best practices for our security policies, not just check boxes for certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not exclusive to Vanta, but security policy implementation is not an overnight process. Getting up and running was quite a bit of effort. Going from zero to complete required a lot of effort from our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our immediate need was to achieve SOC II certification. We didn't know what we needed to get there, but Vanta helped us lay a clear path and groundwork for achieving certification. After our certification, we've found it ar easier to keep our policies and practices up to date.

Great platform and Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard and data available to the users when they use Vanta service. Appreciate how well the dashboard align with the security posture of the organization. Reminders are great on the documents and aspects that need a constant check-in balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far that would put the application in the dislike zone.
