What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it super easy to manage our commitment to SOC 2 Type II. Since bringing Vanta on board, it has become a central part of our internal tech infrastructure and has fast-tracked the process of building an information security management system without requiring a huge amount of resources. It has automated tests that ping the relevant admins when they need attention, meaning that the responsibility of compliance isn't left to one person. It has a huge amount of integrations available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate an onboarding video explaining how Vanta works for new users who are being added to the product as an admin to explain the nuances of the product, the responsibilities of being a control owner and remove the jargon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta help has helped us become audit ready and SOC 2 certified. It has built a system that auditors understands and users can easily use.
Makes SOC2 Compliance EASY!
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is 100% a necessity in order to maintain SOC 2 compliance. It ensures that as a small company we have rules, checks, and reminders, in place to ensure we are compliant year after year without having an entire staff dedicated to these regulations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta is extremely customizable, which is great for companies in various industries, but I wish it was a bit more out of the box. This is the SLA and make it happen, versus us having to set the rules and determine how we want to be tracked. This makes implementation very cumbersome - especially when you are a first time user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta alerts us when something needs to be updated and ensures we have all of the documents and policies in place that are required for SOC2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
is its ability to simplify and automate the process of achieving and maintaining compliance standards, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
What do you dislike about the product?
is that the initial setup can be somewhat complex, especially for organizations that are new to compliance processes. The onboarding process requires a thorough understanding of your existing security infrastructure, which might be challenging for smaller teams without dedicated compliance expertise. Additionally, while Vanta automates much of the compliance process, there are still areas that require manual input, and some integrations might not fully cover all use cases, leading to occasional gaps in automated evidence collection.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provides a platform to reconcile a company's policies and the corresponding controls and measures in place to ensure the policies are enforced consistently across the organization. It allows both self-assessment, and via their partnerships with auditing forms, exertnal audits based on many popular Information Security and Data Protection standards and frameworks. It also allows integration with over 200 services to help reduce manual extraction of evidence of compliance, primarily for audit purposes. Love this tool and excited to see how much more it evolves to provide even more meaningful simplication and automation of processes in line with IT Security Management Systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of a 'least helpful' feature. I would like to see Vanta include ISAE 3000/3402 Type II in their security framework compliance offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta provides an alternative solution to customer requirements to be assessed/certified against the popular Information Security frameworks - one that is usually much more affordable, but in a way is ideal for users who have no or little experience with IT audits. Integration to over 200 other services allows simplification and automation of compliance tracking and documentation.

Vanta has been a fantastic tool for our ISO 27001 accreditation!
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta sets out clearly exactly what is needed to help you gain the ISO27001 accreditation. Everything you need is all in one place with helpful information in each section. It monitors compliance and shows clearly, how to rectify anything that is failing.
In addition, the support team are quick and efficient as well as really knowledgeable and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a downside - I don't know how we could possibly have managed without Vanta

Vanta clearly sets out what is needed in order to gain ISO27001 accreditation and monitors compliance

Trust Center, and I see all what I need for my company to have the best compliance ever

The search doesn't search in all my document, policies, employee ... I like a global search where I can search anything from anywhere

Time and knowledge, Vanta is saving my a considerable amount of time looking for what should I do for my company to be compliant, it also save me the benchmark of security agency and managing thoses freelance.

Even though there is a lot of value for a start up its a bit pricey.

I dislike that every framework causes additional costs, but that's their business model and I understand that.

Vanta provides an overview of all my compliance operations. This is helping me a lot.
Better Fit For The Needs Of A Remote Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Time savings. Can't stress this enough. The work you put in to maintain tests, evidence, policies, etc. is easier to track with the tool, and it makes audits with your auditor exponentially more seamless. The increased efficiency saves countless hours, which is especially helpful for a smaller team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit pricy, but the new packaging structure has helped some with this. For organizations needing more standards and frameworks, it's very reasonable to add additional to spread the costs out.

Needing to achieve security compliance, with limited resources available.
