What do you like best about the product?
As someone without complete understanding of all the necessary SOC2 activities, having them all visible and centralized in one place is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lagging nags for controls -- if we onboard or offboard someone I inevitably have a digest notification telling me I need to act on something that's either already done or part of someone else's process; it would be ideal for there to be some SLA for these controls to reduce noise.
Specific controls for AppSec are lacking; Dependabot integration seems to be built into the product but there are hardly any integrations with ASPM products like Codacy.

After some time using Vanta I can say that it is very useful, it allows you to have absolute control of the use and equipment as well as security, it is highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is an English app, it would be very effective to have it in several languages.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use: Vanta is designed to be user-friendly, with a focus on automating the compliance process. It simplifies the complex tasks associated with compliance, making it accessible even to those who are not experts in the field.
Automation: Vanta automates many of the repetitive and time-consuming aspects of compliance, such as evidence collection, monitoring, and reporting. This allows us to maintain compliance with minimal ongoing work.
Real-Time Monitoring: Vanta continuously monitors the systems, detecting issues in real-time.
Support for Multiple Frameworks: Vanta supports various compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR that we have signed up for, but in future we can expand to more easily.

Customization Limitations: Some of the tools that we use (eg. Sonarqube) dont have ready integration in Vanta.
Potential for False Sense of Security: Automated tools can sometimes create a false sense of security, where we might assume that the compliance is fully covered.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing assurance to our stakeholders (internal and external) about the data security. Ensuring that the Cloud deployments are done as per SOC2 security framework and the data is managed properly as per GDPR framework
Vanta made our journey towards ISO 27001 compliance a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has an extremely simple and clear user interface, making it very easy to work out what is required to meet all controls. It was very simple to implement integrations, usually just a case of one or two mouse-clicks. Vanta's customer support team are friendly and helpful, providing us with just the right, targeted level of assistance. I now found myself logging into the Vanta platform on an almost-daily basis to check our progress towards certification.

There are some pieces of software that we use as a company that are not yet integrated into Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has walked us through the process of preparing for ISO 27001 certification, from almost a zero base.
I am impressed with their integrations and had a great the sales experience

I expected to add a URL link from SharePoint, but their feature is particular and requires you to create a folder in SharePoint that does not comply with our topology.

We have chosen Vanta as our Trust Center, and our experience with the platform has been exceptional from the very beginning. The implementation process was straightforward, and Vanta has significantly reduced our internal workload by streamlining compliance management and minimizing friction with our customers. Although we do not need to access it frequently, when the need arises, we are confident in its accuracy and effectiveness in presenting the necessary information to our customers.
Vanta's seamless integration with essential tools, such as DocuSign for NDA signatures, further enhances our operational efficiency by simplifying processes and reducing administrative burdens. Additionally, our interactions with Vanta’s support team have been consistently positive; assistance was readily available, and issues were resolved promptly.

There is nothing I dislike about Vant, it does what it needs to do.

Vanta addresses several key challenges for us by reducing the need for frequent customer meetings to explain our security posture. It automates administrative tasks, like automatically requesting NDA signatures from prospective customers, streamlining our processes. Additionally, Vanta provides an intuitive and visually appealing interface, allowing customers to access necessary documents at any time without needing to request files from our team. This enhances both our efficiency and customer experience.

the automation that Vanta takes in consideration for all aspects in order to be align and in compliance with the Certifications is awesome, really makes all work easier

I would like Vanta to have more updated steps for implementing, mitigating, or fixing certain controls and areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta allowed me to get the SOC2 compliance certification and help me to get in touch with my auditor.

What do you like best about the product?
As one of the main project managers for our compliance, Vanta provided me with a clear roadmap to help organize our journey to our end goal. In audit, Vanta delivers a clear picture of what is needed and real-time audit updates, which has been very helpful. I would say that Vanta is easy to use, and the customer service has always been beneficial when needed.

Vanta provided many efficiencies for attaining compliance. However, there were specific instances where I feel Vanta could have been more automated.

Vanta provides a clear picture of how to become and maintain compliance with specific security criteria.
