    Computer Software

Neat tool for supporting multiple languages

What do you like best about the product?
- UX-friendly with clear explanations and good overview of what the outcome of different actions is
- Offers several different options for language review (AI, professional translator, native etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
- The main problem has been, in the past, that when a professional translator is used to review the machine-generated translations suggestions, it's not always the same translator. This means that the Product Manager or developer needs to provide the same amount of context to the copy we want translated every time, because the translator knows nothing about our product, and whenever we've missed adding that context in even just one or two cases in the past, this has led to confusion and the translations being late. I'm not using this tool as actively any longer though so it might be this has been addressed since.
- Once, the translations reviewals for one of the languages didn't reach us in time, leading to negative consequences for our release. To my knowledge this has only happened once though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Streamlines the translations process (I remember back when we would sit and update translations in an Excel sheet...)
- Enables a clear overview of the different strings of text in our UI and the translation into each language we support.
- Ensures accurate use of local languages

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, comprehensive design.

Automatic translation are good enough is most case.

API is well designed and easy to integrate in any build system you might imagine.

The CLI tool is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything, but I'm forced to write a comment here.

A simple and powerful tool to manage and review all your translations

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple and very clear. All my contributors quickly found how to enter translations and insert placeholders required by the base translation.
I like the API to import all my translations with Fastlane!
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to use the automatic translation feature, but it's not included in the starter plan.
When you add a contributor, it's not very clear because you add it to the project and the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have 12 languages in my apps, and managing them in a simple Excel file is very complicated.
I also have many external contributors in each language. Lokalise is perfect for doing that!

What do you like best about the product?
1. Their features are very focused in translation and maintenance of it.
2. They have excellent customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing so far. I am very much enjoying the experience with Lokalise

They have solved all my translation problems. Sharing and searching strings have never been easier.

Amazing featureset and awesome support

What do you like best about the product?
Easy ui, usefull workflows, automated translations work great, extremely good api documentation that lets you do everything, very easy to explain to our less tech savy colleagues how to use it. On top of that you have a support that helps you within literally minutes. Can not recomend this tool enough!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can not complain about anything. One thing would be that you can not remove translations to stay out of the overall statistic but this is really on us because we have some untranslated text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We translate our websites with it for around 35 languages and 20 applications. It keeps our workflow easy and makes it possible for non tech people to manage translations on their own.


    Translation and Localization

Scalability, exceptional service and multilingual functions

What do you like best about the product?
The UI at the user level is extremely easy to use, especially regarding file and content upload, search filters and accessing the in-built translation memory. Another great feature is that MT tools such as DeepL are integrated when carrying out translations within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software and service are fantastic, I have no grievances in that respect, however, I feel like the permission structure can be quite confusing at times at project/task and group level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise allows us to connect our platform to multiple clients as well as offer alternative translation services which increases productivity and KPIs from a business perspective.

Lokalise is the platform that just keeps giving

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise is a fantastic platform that enables many of our clients to connect their diverse IT systems seamlessly to our translation management platform. We thoroughly enjoy our collaboration with Lokalise and often divert new and existing clients in order to facilitate integrations between multiple system types. Their support team is also extremely helpful in the cases of complex technical issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lokalise is a very complete platform, and thus with this comes various levels of complexity. Luckily, we feel fully supported by their support team and dedicated contacts in order to resolve any issues we face. The main negative factor is that we don't always receive a list of changes to the platform which can sometimes negatively impact our API integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise allows us to seamlessly connect to a variety of platforms used by our clients and as a consequence, enables us to provide high-quality translations efficiently, quickly and effectively.

At home = one discovers more and more additional features useful for both for digital product developers and translators, while doing basic tasks brilliantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I haven't joined Loaklise yet as Product manager.

What do you like best about the product?
- A central platform to organise all language keys of our native Android, iOS and WebApps.
- Very good key upload and update process
- Very good user experience
- Constant feature improvements
What do you dislike about the product?
Please improve the Lokalise integration for Wordpress!
The rest is great!

Organising all our language keys - otherwise we would need to use Excel, which is very inefficient.

Translation services made simple

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise makes software translation easy for us. Including services under a subscription with straightforward access to human translation services with on-demand orders, which costs are provided before confirming. The on-boarding and support service has been great so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, we haven't found any significant issues with the platform. If at all costs may or may not suit your business case, I generally can't flag anything I dislike about using Lokalise services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It covers automated translation services for our software as well as for human translations where required. Also serves as a translation platform for in-house translators.
