Great tool for software localization
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to track new incoming content as well as any revisions in the existing content across the platform, so you can always stay on top of what needs attention in which languages. I also really like how highly and easily customizable the tag system and the status system are, it makes localization management that much easier. It's convenient to manage not only translations, but the base language itself as well, no need to switch between various platforms. Love that it's easy to see translation history and restore any previous versions, track linguists' progress and involve developers and designers in the workflow as well through various integrations.
Maybe one thing to highlight separately - for a software localization tool, Lokalise is also surprisingly decent at supporting the localization of lengthier materials. So you don't really need a separate tool for localizing your documentation or marketing materials, as you would with a few other localization solutions that support only a key-based approach.
And if you ever get stuck on something, the customer service is always very responsive and quick to help.
I am also very happy that the tool is constantly being updated and developed further, its CAT tool functionalities are constantly becoming better and better as well thanks to that.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I dislike anything, but for me, QA is definitely the function with the biggest room for improvement, e.g. so you could customize it a bit more, use the termbase in checks, batch ignore errors, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Lokalise for managing and continuously localizing the microcopy in our product, as well as for translating some lengthier non-software texts. We're definitely befitting from the flexibility that Lokalise offers, the integration via API has helped us solve a few technical issues that our old system couldn't support.
Simple, intuitive & powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise provides us with a single, all-encompassing platform for all our translation needs. Its ability to integrate with external tools such as Figma and Github means that our designers and developers alike can upload, translate and download content conveniently. The platform has a sleek, slightly minimalistic design which makes it an easy to learn and use tool for project managers, translators, designers, developers, or anybody else working in the field. Customer service is also a high point with very friendly and available staff willing to provide support as required.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes quite a bit of time to export translated content back into external tools such as Figma, often requiring you to synchronise and download content in batches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise allows us to deliver software products to international markets faster, which subsequently expands our reach. In turn, we can offer the same great apps to users across the globe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The rather high subscription price is something to keep in mind for companies with tighter budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been working with Lokalise since its early days. I'd say the most incredible part of it is the team—always friendly, helpful, and listening carefully to any feedback. And the support seems to be working 24/7, the reply to me faster than my mum.

Didn't spot anything that would cause any issue, really!

We use it both for storage and translation manipulations—works great for both purposes. App strings are a particular delight to translate with Lokalise.

It is easy to use and very flexible, and the support is also super-helpful and responsive.

We have not run into any issues, but it would be helpful in our case with more tools for cleaning up translation memory contamination.

We have spent a lot of time with managing translations with spreadsheets and working with Lokalise is such an improvement for both managing translations and translating.
Great team and amazing system
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the best teams I've seen. I respond quickly, very flexible and always find a way out of the situation so that the client is satisfied. the system is very good and includes many tools. We have been using it for 2 years. Both programmers and translators are satisfied.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times you dont know how to do something becasue system have many tools but in the same time team reply very fast and help to solve it. When translater is working with text, sometime he have some question and leave remark, it is difficult to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to use xls file for localization as before used. Every language can add very easy. You can add translater in your team and give him the task todo. You can down load any file in any file extension. For programmers it is very important.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We try to use several similar system but some of them is very expencive, some dont have enough tools for localization.
I think the most important in any service it is team. And the team is recruited by the owner. If team is proffesional it means that owner is also proffesional and he know what to do and how for their customers!

Life-saving technology!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage all keys on both Android and iOS. Great workflow for cross-functional collaboration and outsourcing translators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unclear description of each icon, which takes time to look up the usage of each feature on the Help Centre.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Lokalise is that it can clean up all the old keys and make them merge all duplicates together, which helps us to create a clean and organised structure.

A very responsive, modern, and flexible translation management system.
What do you like best about the product?
Competitive pricing, responsive support, intuitive tools, multiple integrations with 3-party services, instrumental diversity allowing management of various projects, support of a big variety of source files, high flexibility in everything related to customized integration to client's services.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a secondary subdivision of subprojects within a single project. Currently, a system of tags is in use, which can be worked with, but not ideal.

We are using Lokalise for a variety of projects, including continuous translation of a software product along with massive marketing and educational projects running simultaneously.

Probably versioning functionality. I want the software to explicitly inform me of what exactly strings were updated upon the next file upload

No need to share documentation with the translators, easy to control the progress, easy to review and update translation memory
Feature rich, easy to use, granular but not overwhelming - with world class support.
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is super easy to use, contains a deep level of tools and features - but never overwhelming in its usability. New members of staff are onboarded with ease.

So far, the only problem I have is my own limitations on how to get the best of it. I get the feeling this can be used in ways we've not even fully explored yet!

Figma plugin provides seamless translations on the fly with prototype projects. The project repository is simple to upload, download from, audit and search. Saved us a lot of time and money.

What do you like best about the product?

- In the essential plan: the possibility to get suggestions for translations makes the translation process super fast (especially if you aren't familiar with the other language)

The minimum amount of team members of 10 people isn't fully used in my company, hence offering smaller team sizes would be a plus!
