Powerful CAT solution

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of great functionality and thorough documentation and videos to explain features. Very responsive support team. Intuitive interface and it's very handy to order excellent professional translations through Lokalise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is necessary to upgrade to plans to get certain features and functionalities (at a significant price jump) while gaining other features and functionalities that we don't use. Additionally, the "Translation Memory" search function for exact matches has seemingly disappeared (which I really liked how it worked previously).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Works well with GitHub (our developers love that). Able to leverage translation memory in terms of cost and time savings.

An easy-to-use yet versatile tool for automating the translation process

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise provides a simple interface for translators to work with. Easy to manage with versatile features. Support for full process from design to production. Excellent onboarding support!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of possibilities for automation, but it is not possible without custom development to create recurring automation that checks if there are new keys created and creates a translation task of those items.

Minor nuisances with the Figma plugin: it doesn't understand design system components, the translation/linking is always done on the layout, though for example navigation elements could be just linked once to the components. Screenshots are taken from the parent frame, not from the selected frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an inefficient manual translation management process that caused lots of errors and affected negatively our end-user experience.

Lokalise has streamlined our translation process and reduced the time needed for translation management. It has removed the need for translation replacement tasks from the developers altogether since the corrections are automatically processed and moved into production.

The quality of the UX has improved since Lokalise has reduce the amount of incorrect or missing terms in the interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise makes the process to meet i18n standards easy for our product, brand, and customer teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team relies heavily on Figma, and I look forward to the improvements on their roadmap regarding the plugin. There could also be more flexibility around using translation providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to implement clearly defined processes for efficiently localizing assets.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the tool and the amazing customer support. All technical issues are always resolved in no time on the chat and all account related questions in our custom slack channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The pricing I think could be cheaper especially for roles like developer or admins that don't actually do translations. There is also a lack of other roles than translators and admins
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise helps us to translate our three apps and website. We still don't use all the benefits of a proper translation process.

So much to the platform that I still don't know, I might not be doing everything as efficiently as I could be

Lokalise organizes strings of text for our mobile application in 12+ languages and is immensely helpful in flagging updates and edits that need to be made

If you are managing a product, website, etc. that has text subject to change, Lokalise makes managing the changes super easy for all languages that the product is translated in

What do you like best about the product?
It has integrations with Github, and simple export features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX can be improved a bit, it's a bit hard to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Localization is always there before a deployment.
2. Team collaboration has greatly improved.

What do you like best about the product?
Figma integration & translation suggestion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Taiwan is not a province of China. The options for a question down below should be changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can edit the translation as we want, so we don't have to wait for engineers to type in the server for us.
Figma integration saves us time explaining context.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We focus on translating while building a global product. Lokalise takes care of the rest.

Easy, quick and intuitive translation software

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to collaborate across teams and timezones, making sure everything is translated correctly. The view in localise makes it easy to see what's been translated and the integration with intercom makes for a smooth exporting process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Intercom could be better, there are certain elements that don't import for instance when you 'import' articles and are trying to import your entire library. Sometimes the formatting get's lost when exporting etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're translating our entire product as well as all of our help articles to French Canadian (and hopefully in the future more languages). The benefits of using localise is that we have a centered place for all translations which makes it easy for our team to collaborate on translation projects even though we work in different parts of our business and in different parts of the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use PROJECTS to split up things! This has made it better for our team, and multiple people can administer different projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy key creation and comparing languages with the duplicate feature in the Figma plugin. Streamlining our localisation management as we add new markets is vital and Lokalise are always looking at new features to improve that effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing key names can't be done in the Figma plugin even though the reason for that limit makes sense. It also probably stops designers breaking app builds but change keys on production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced developer workload to zero for UI copy. Much better language control and ability to create multi-lingual mobile app store assets. It drives has helped deliver our design led localisation effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a simple platform with a lot of flexibility that covers a wide variety of localisation use cases. Add to that a friendly consultative team and you have a partner to help take your product to the world.

- Other tools failed to have us stick several years
What do you dislike about the product?
- Can have been complex to set up in the past but they keep improving the onboarding into products and features
- There was a time with fewer new features because they focused on improving the performance, this time is over now :)

Before Lokalize, the localization process was too much operational and not focused on the quality of the content, people from different teams were painfully collaborating. It is solved now
