Great tool for agile localisation

What do you like best about the product?
1) The user support is really helpfull and friendly. They are always happy to help and they answer all questions really quickly.
2) Clean UI.
3) It's possible to test some features from a different subscription plan for free.
4) It's a great tool to easily manage translations into many languages at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some technical drawbacks:
1) Unicode symbols with capital letters are not displayed as placeholders.
2)There's a visual bug of the editor which sometimes displays placeholders from right to left for RTL languages. It's quite confusing, displaying them from left to right seems to make more sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We translate our app into many languages and Lokalise really helps to manage this in the agile model.

Lokalise is really recommended, currently best in market if you need localization

What do you like best about the product?
We were using another product. After a while, we started to look for solutions for our problems for updating text without app release. Live SDK is life saver for us, because otherwise we need to implement this feature somehow. Moreover all stockholders like easy to use user interface and other features such as integration with slack , detailed key history and attaching screenshots to keys. Customer support service is really great, we use other saas application and if we compare with them we can say lokalise customer support is really great.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our organization we have started to use lokalise with 1 project. After our experience other department (applications) started to use and at this point user limit became an issue. Number of User limits would be increase. And another issue is MAU limits of live SDK. After we started to use Live SDK feature for 1 application, we want also for other applications but because of limit of MAU. I would suggest to lokalise team to make flexible options such us we can make over-the-air feature passive/active for each applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whole product team and agencies involve translation process and save us for unnecessary respondent work. Because of regulative laws we sometimes need to change text in application. Without need to release we can easily update text in production clients. Moreover, we were using another product but it has some limitations about ios plurals issue and we overcome this problem with lokalise.

Attach screenshots to keys is really beneficial for external translators. Because they are not present during the UI design, so they could not know keys usage purpose. So they find this feature very useful when they making translations.

With project chat we don't need any other platform such as mail,slack etc. We use project chat feature for asking any questions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While we are searching localization products, we tested most of the products in market. So I suggest to try Lokalise and other ones and you will choose right one

Translations done the right way

What do you like best about the product?
It's a wonderful translation experience for the users. It has a beautiful User Interface and It helps us save a lot of time. It even makes translating a very fun job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a Salesforce Integration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are translating an exchange student's application portal to over 40 languages. Before we were using excel files and spending a lot of time re-fomatting them. Now with Lokalise, we are able to do everything more efficiently. Translators get more context of the translation which results in a better translation and we spend less time fixing spreadsheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The first time using the app looks a bit overwhelming but give it a chance It has so many useful features.

What do you like best about the product?
Managing our multiple products as projects makes our life easier. Translation tasks management is really usefull to us because we can add images to certain keys, comments, tags,...

Also their support team is always ready to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're managing a large amount of keys and sometimes the app is a bit slow. If you have a lot of projects it makes a bit tedious to add new contributors to each project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can use Lokalise to manage our translations, give clear tasks to our translators and the update our products dictionaries. Everything in just one place.

Since we are expanding to new countries every month, we need to translate a large amount of keys in multiple languages. Lokalise makes our expansion easier for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Adding Lokalise to our product developement workflow have increased our speed a lot! Our translators love it.

Easy but powerful TMS

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the software and non-cluttered menus. The export option and API availability are a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less customization on the homepage. It gets really messy when you have numerous projects. Probably a gallery view could help. Limitations on CSV/Excel upload. The ability to upload multiple translations at once would be awesome. Glossary management could be a separate project rather than a feature inside a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the problem of not having a centralized repository. Lokalise became our source of truth for the copies and strings that go on our website, mobile apps, and even hardware packaging. This ensures brand consistency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are struggling with multiple copies, disorganized strings, Lokalise is the best way to help consolidate everything in a single place. This is a powerful tool and potentially has more features coming up soon.

Simple translation management

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise helped us organize our translations into a centralized platform. Previously a developer would be asked to update a simple translation here and there costing us valuable time in our sprints. This is now automated thanks to lokalise. Our content and product teams can change and manage translations without Engineering involvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality, and organization by file is a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have centralized our localizations and automate our translation deployments. This allows our content writers and product managers to change copy without Engineering involvement!

Quick translations and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Especially Lokalise's LiveEdit Mobile is a great feature, since it shows you the page from your mobile application and gives you a clear context for your translations. In addition, using integrations was easy and for translation orders, it is nice to see an estimate of when the order should be ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have always the same translator per language to ensure quality remains the same, but I guess this issue is the same for all similar translation services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise helps us get translations quickly and see the progress for each order. You can also give instructions to translators and create a glossary to ensure your own specific terminology is used.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great service if you are looking for quick translations, good variety of languages and possibility to integrate and/or use LiveEdit to translate software yourself.

What do you like best about the product?
Almost everything! So far it is being super helpful for managing the localization process with translators and reviewers! Lokalise solves so many issues for different teams - Product Content Designers, Translators, Localization Specialists and Engineers. Apart from their powerful and flexible translation funcionalities, they have a great support team. The learning curve for every team involved has been super smooth since day 1 -a fundamental issue when you have so many people and profiles working with the same tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Lokalise is at its core a powerful TMS and CAT, I wish it could offer some extra functionalities that would make it the "one-stop shop" solution for managing and organizing product content. I dream of a powerful TMS and modest CMS in one! Also, a more complete, one to one chat solution would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- A more agile process. No more endless email threads, missing calls and ungovernable Excel files!
- Better QA process. A good ally to our content audit!
- More consistency in every language thanks to the Glossary and Translation memory.

Awesome tool for translation of software

What do you like best about the product?
I'm mainly in the role as a reviewer but also translate things. As I have heard from our developers it was really easy to integrate lokalise with our existing code. As a user, it's really easy to handle, it gives great recommendations from different translation tools (Microsoft, deepl, google to name a few) and makes the process of having a multilanguage software really easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that comes to mind at the moment. I only see benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining a software with more and more languages and having an easy process to add new translations within the fast development cycles that we have in small batches. One of the main benefits is to include the native speakers in our organisation to review translations and maybe adapt them to fit the specific context in the software. It's really easy to use and needs basically no training for a bit technical users.
