Fantastic tool for solving translation management
What do you like best about the product?
Very well designed, easy to use, simple, good integrations, responsive & helpful support including making improvements and a reasonable pricing model
What do you dislike about the product?
To date I nor my team have found anything we dislike about the product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The manage of translations of our software projects including websites, apps, emails in more than 20 languages with at least 30 translators

- It's very easy to onboard new people as the tool is self explaining
- the developer documentations are up to date and for our devs it was very easy to implement
- the live edit view feature helps our product marketing to adjust text in context of the site and app.

What do you dislike about the product?
- it would be very nice to have feature branches or release branches so we would be able to steer what translations go live and which not. we can do it by tagging but it would be cool to have something more reliable maybe connected to our github branches
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translations can be done by every one also outside of the company . it just needs an invite. not really needed a big onboarding as the tool is very self explaining. the statistics allows an overview to see where translations are missing.
Lokalise makes complex translations set ups easy and organized
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to work with multiple people at the same time. Our devs add the keys, our designers review them, and we have multiple people from multiple translations companies and internal people translating our content. Seems like a nightmare, but Lokalise makes it super easy and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can run out of "seats" (people who have access to the tool) quite fast. We have to audit it every now and then so we can keep only the necessary people for that time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent translations to all our apps, and easy use by devs, designers, translator and project managers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their support team is fantastic. If you have any doubts ask them, it will make your life easier.
Excellent Localization Tool and Customer Support service
What do you like best about the product?
- Support updating texts in mobile apps on the fly without having to release new app versions
- Easy to use, very detailed and feature-rich SDKs for iOS and Android and Dashboard Website
- Very fast response on support and especially technical support. I once worked with one of their engineers to debug some bugs in their Android SDK. And they released a new SDK version 5 minutes after that.
- Offer various options for translation service, with different professional levels.

- My team and I personally find Lokalise really helpful, nothing really to complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our issues with localization and translation before Lokalise:
- We were having issues with managing all texts in our Android and iOS apps for about 10 languages. Plus managing translations for that many languages for 2 platforms was a pain.
- Whenever we have text changes no matter how minor, we needed to to release a new version.
Benefits that Lokalise brings to our team:
- All texts and translations in one place, no more copy-pasting translated text to the original texts.
- Now we can update texts (most of them) remotely without having to release a new app update. This is a huge advantage.
- Save us a lot of time for managing, cleaning up texts/translations, communicating back and forth with Translators.

- No support for nested json structures
- API is slow from China and gets a bit slow overall with 13k+ keys

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving everyones time by giving the translators full control of their translations
Great product, fantastic support and constantly improving!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Lokalise because I feel like they are genuinely trying to make the best translation management system possible. They already have a great product but are constantly adding new features and are really interested in hearing our feedback and suggestions. It's been amazing how much new functionality they've managed to implement in the past 6 months including some developments put in specially for us. The support is absolutely fantastic - they get back to you straight away and they all really know what they are talking about.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found a couple of bugs but the engineers have been able to fix them incredibly quickly (like in 40 minutes) so this hasn't been a big problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise has solved a huge number of problems for us. The review settings, filters, adjustable access rights and general user friendliness of the product has allowed us to implement a process for translation and clinical review where translators and reviewers can manage their own workflows and keep content translated without having to be constantly managed and monitored. The previous system we used was so confusing that I ended up spending hours training each translator up, sending them guides , answering questions, fixing their mistakes - Lokalise is much more intuitive which has a been a huge help

Unification, agregation of all translations at one place. Good integration with our custom webstore. User friendly interface. Flexibilty.

Filter of translation projects is poor, i can not sort or filter the projects by date etc.

Language localisation of content of a webstore in 36 countries. Database of eccomerce phrases used in webstores.

What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is improving constantly, sometimes there are some things that are missing that would save me time but when reporting these issues, they are often times already working on it to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We looked for a new translation tool because we want to improve consistency over different projects. The possibility to add context was also missing from our previous tool. Lokalise greatly improved our translation process.

Documentation of the framework, updated tutorials to use the platform, improved team payment system will be good to have.

Localising the whole app. One platform to get all localisations done saves a lot of development time.
It supports changing of text dynamically, which is great as we don't need to update the app.
