- Some important enterprise features related to security, ease of use, are missing

We are using it as OLAP datastore. I am using it for both batch and real time use-cases.

What do you like best about the product?
StarTree has made it easy to get started with real-time analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited SQL support, it would be great to do some more advanced things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
StarTree helps getting started answering analytical questions from streams. This is very useful for many user-facing and internal analytics.

Engineers are competent and support staff are helpful and nice

Customers need to reach out to StarTree for many issues. They don't have many alerts.

Fast queries for real-time analytics
Grteat potential and customer support, needs refinement in alerting

Love the customer support, they will respond to issues and provide the fixes needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more refinement in on call alerting, to enable better communication between our organization and the on call staff

Analytics
We use StarTree as a provider of Apache Pinot
What do you like best about the product?
StarTree use many open-source projects but also have their unique features on top of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is not so fast, but when the ticket is closed always pushes you to evaluate their work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have time-to-time meetings with the StarTree team and they talk to us about new features and explain to use their products in a more sophisticated way.
