Support and onboarding have been responsive and knowledgeable, with localized expertise that makes setup easier. The AI features also add value by flagging potential compliance issues and forecasting payroll costs, helping teams plan more effectively. Overall, it’s a secure, efficient solution that improves finance workflows and the employee experience.

One of the main drawbacks of Deel Payroll is that, while powerful, it can feel overly complex at first — especially for smaller teams that don’t need all the global compliance features. The pricing can also be high compared to local payroll providers, which makes it less attractive if you only operate in one country. Some users mention that report customization is limited, so if you want highly tailored analytics, you may need to export data and work outside the platform. Integrations, though solid, sometimes require extra setup or don’t cover every niche tool. Finally, while support is generally responsive, time zone differences can occasionally delay resolution for urgent issues.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Deel Payroll solves the challenge of managing global payroll and compliance across multiple countries, which traditionally requires juggling different providers, regulations, and currencies. By centralizing everything in one platform, it eliminates manual spreadsheets, reduces compliance risks, and ensures employees and contractors are paid accurately and on time. The integrations with accounting and HR systems cut down on duplicate work, while automation improves speed and minimizes errors. For me, the biggest benefit is the time saved and the peace of mind knowing that local tax laws and labor regulations are handled correctly. It also improves employee satisfaction since payments are faster and more transparent, and the forecasting tools help plan costs more effectively as the team scales internationally.

I really like Deel Payroll because it's convenient and user-friendly, especially with the new update, which has made it more efficient and easy to navigate. I also find it easy to check my current balance and track past transactions. Signing up and getting my account verified was simple, just using my email and creating a password.

Deel Payroll helps me with financial matters, especially with advances when my salary isn't enough. It's convenient, user-friendly, and easy to navigate, making it efficient to manage transactions and check balances.

What do you like best about the product?

The clearest positive was a few individual support people who were responsive and genuinely helpful when escalations came up. The promise of consolidating US PEO, UK and Swiss payroll on a single platform is attractive in principle. In practice, though, very little of that integrated value materialised for us.

What do you dislike about the product?

We hit errors from the very first payroll run. The first US PEO payroll came in up to ~20% lower than expected: a missing lunch allowance, over-charged Medicare, and missing LTD/STD. After that we had 401(k) over-deductions, NY PFML miscalculations, and direct debits triggered without our approval. UK payroll showed GL variances and deduction changes we submitted four separate times that still weren't applied correctly, plus mismatches between the payroll engine and what the platform displayed. Swiss payroll needed three package versions to fix, had the wrong payout date, and payslips weren't issued. Six months in, our finance team still could not run proper reconciliations due to access and download limitations. The promised single integrated platform felt in practice like onboarding several separate providers with no coordination.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is intended to consolidate multi-country payroll (US PEO plus UK and Switzerland) onto one platform and to handle statutory deductions, benefits and reporting. The intended benefit is a single source of truth and less manual coordination across jurisdictions. For us that benefit largely did not land: each jurisdiction ran differently and required heavy manual checking, chasing and reconciliation, which added work rather than removing it.

What do you like best about the product?

The web and mobile apps are easy to use. They are fast too. I especially like features such as transaction history, invoice review, and legal document review, as well as the home screen that pulls all the key information together at a glance. It also integrates with many payment methods, and the fees for each option are clearly displayed, which makes it easy to choose. Deal Advance is a great addition too.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s not always clear which payment method is the best option at a given moment, so an AI based suggestion feature would be helpful. Also, filtering by date in the transaction history is a bit hard to understand at first and could be more intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a contractor, this app helps me keep track of the payments I receive. It also makes it much easier for me to accept payments from international clients.

The features feel fast, the UI stays consistently smooth, and the overall process is straightforward and direct. The integrations with different providers are genuinely useful, and they give me several options for withdrawing my money. The app is also easy to understand, so I haven’t run into any problems using it. I did have an issue once, but it was on my bank’s side; customer support responded quickly and with clear, helpful information, which let me call my bank and get it sorted out.

What do you dislike about the product?

The cost for instant integrations is a little too high. The UI is generally easy to understand, but the way some features are grouped can be confusing at times, and a few options could be easier to find and access.

Deel is helping me resolve the issues I’ve had with my payments. Payments are processed quickly, I can integrate Deel with many banks, and I can access my payments easily in a fast and secure way.

I find Deel Payroll very easy to use for making payments from our bank and distributing them automatically. It saves me a lot of time and allows me to audit and check each payment easily. The initial setup was very easy, and it remains easy for new contractors.

The reporting isn't great, and sometimes it can be hard to understand how to onboard someone and what are the steps that are missing.

I manage all my contractors in one place with Deel Payroll, and it makes payments convenient. It saves me a lot of time and lets me audit and check each payment easily.

What do you like best about the product?

I like using Deel Payroll for its effectiveness and communication in processes and payments. It is perfect for receiving my salary in another currency, and the payment records and notifications help me a lot. I am always aware of how much and when I will receive my salary because I receive alerts via email, mobile, and other notifications, even for transfers when moving my money between accounts.
In my case, it is already integrated with the WebWork Time Tracker, so my hours are compensated within Deel quickly and easily understood.
The entire system of the application is intuitive, easy to understand, and has various functions, even for contract management and creation.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes, he takes longer than he should to send the money from one account to another, which ends up being inconvenient when I need the transfer to be faster.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Deel Payroll to receive my salary in another currency. It is efficient in processes and payments, with accurate records and notifications that keep me informed about my earnings. For me, it works very well and notifies about everything, including transfers to the account.

What do you like best about the product?

Deel resolved my issue with Swift withdrawal. So now I can continue my work.

It would be better to be more informed about the issue during the resolving period.

Problems are solving slowly without any result. They like to answer with soulless templates without bothering about your situation.
