What do you like best about the product?
--Great UI. Very user-friendly.
--Unbeatable customer experience.
--Efficient and fast implementation process. We felt supported every step of the way and set up for success.
--Account managers are extremely dependable. They go out of their way to make sure you have what you need (shout out to Zach!).
--The end results! Assemble got us to a FAR better place than we could've ourselves.
--We honestly couldn't have gotten through the compensation review process without this. Total rewards has become such a hot (and high stakes) topic these past few years, Assemble made it easy to do it well. I'd recommend to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
--Nothing! The only feedback we have is to continue building out great new features (e.g. role leveling matrix) and integrations (Gusto).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
--All aspects of total rewards
--Compensation (cash and equity) refreshers
--Dynamic offer letters

Deel to the rescue

What do you like best about the product?
The Deel platform is so easy and intuitive, that it makes for a great user experience. I engaged with Deel in late 2021 to onboard a UK hire and their representative was so helpful and shared insights into the statutory requirements for the UK that I felt that I had contacted the right company to help us grow. Fast forward to Feb 2022 when the war started in Ukraine and our US bank couldn't get payroll to our employees based there. Deel was able to do what they couldn't and Hivecell will always be thankful for the Deel team. You have a forever client and I will happily recommend your services to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of a single thing that I dislike about Deel. Great service, platform, pricing, efficiency. A home run in my book.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel has solved our international payroll problem and enabled us to hire hard-to-find talent in other countries and they take care of all legal requirements. Solid partner

What do you like best about the product?
Deel is seamless, it easy to use.
UX is extremely simple, you can share it with any contractor/employee in the world to understand how Deel works.
Customer support is top-notch.
You can withdraw an advance if you need extra cash!
What do you dislike about the product?
You can buy crypto, but it's not possible to buy stocks from the US market.

Deel keeps your salary safe for 30 days! It should be possible to eliminate the providers' fee in the salary is stored in 25+ days in deel account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My employer is based in the US, the salary process is seamless with Deel. It is fast and they take care of the middle part where money is transferred to a local bank.

Multiple ways of withdrawal from back accounts, to crypto!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works for seed-stage startups to growth-stage startup.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel values their customers, their customer service is really good they always make sure they understand your problem before anything, and you can tell they are really trying to help you and not trying to get rid of you off the call like other customer services do. their customer service is like a flashlight in the dark.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using money-sending platforms we expect them to be fast and easy to use. So far there is nothing to dislike about deel, try them and you won't regret you did it

Deel is making it easy to send and receive money across different continents. it solves my problems is that it's fast, convenient, and easy to use and they don't have any complications when signing up.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of use:
As a Contractor, I do not need to do anything but specify my withdrawal methods. No matter what is this: a bank account, a Wise account.
A clear UI is very simple to use.

2. Customer support:
Whenever I have a question I cannot resolve by myself, Deel support comes to help. It takes minutes to get a response at any time of the day.
The support team is extremely polite and knows well a subject area.
Whenever I have a question, I get it answered in the quickest and most competent manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deel is very sticky to their internal guidelines and not really up to any deviations.

They did not want to accept my lease agreement as proof of address. The only acceptable documents were a bank statement and a utility bill.
Still managed that by getting a bank statement from another fintech service, which accepted my lease agreement as proof of address.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Deel, I get my monthly payments on time.
I am able to transfer the money to any convenient bank/service in just a few clicks.
I don't need to create invoices, Deel does that for me.
Have a contract update? Just click to sign a new one - and off we go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please, widen a list of the documents acceptable for proof of address.

Perfect tool for compensation analysis!

What do you like best about the product?
Assemble puts everything in a visual, easy-to-understand format. It helped us to see what the market data was compared to our current practices to ensure fairness and accuracy in all of our compensation decisions. The team is highly responsive and allows us to make nuanced requests to make sure the tool is giving us the insight we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given this is a newer tool, some of the reporting isn't quite where we would hope it to be. There are some reports and actions that aren't self-service, which takes out some of the experimentation you can do in the platform. That should come with time and product iteration though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They're the only tool we've seen that provides such a robust solution for analyzing market data, comparing that to current compensation practices, and building out strategies that can be fair/equitable while based in the real world.

Simple + Thoughtful Comp tools that leave room for nuance

What do you like best about the product?
It's clear when using Assemble that their founders know what they're talking about when it comes to compensation planning. It's really simple to use, but not so simple that it holds you back. It also brings me so much peace of mind as we grow a Recruiting team that newer team members will have these resources as they get ramped up, from discussing comp in their very first call to sending out offers. They build rapport quickly, which allows Recruiting to feel so much more confident in what they're saying too and therefore build rapport with their candidates and stakeholders too. We were able to provide an in-depth overview of our compensation philosophy to the whole company based off the work Assemble empowered us to do, which was well-received.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing comes to mind yet - everything is just future "nice to haves". Agreed with a similar review of how valuable things like webinars would be, or connection with other folks using Assemble, knowing they are most likely similarly-minded HR teams prioritizing both transparency and structure. The team is super quick to respond, so whatever they need to do to scale appropriately!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- grounding our pay decisions in data, while still being responsive to the market
- confidence in our pay equity
- clear communication of our compensation philosophy/decisions
- "single point of truth" for people ops and recruiting to all be on the same page
- we're not quite big enough to have "offer approvals" set up in our ATS, so having that live within Assemble is a super valuable data integrity check
- thoughtful offer letters to make sure our future employees are fully understanding their total compensation too
- knowledgeable team, priceless resource on its own

What do you like best about the product?
Companies that include equity as a significant element of compensation, struggle with how to tell a consistent and accurate future-looking total compensation story to candidates (and existing employees). Assemble is the solution. Their visual offer letter is RIDICULOUSLY effective at demonstrating the value of equity, and the full compensation package. This will sound like an exaggeration, but we have almost a 100% accept rate with Assemble visual offer letters. You get to iterate on the design and use your own branding. The end product that the candidate receives is slick. I knew we had a hit when we hired a recruiter and they said that the Assemble offer letter was a primary reason for them accepting our offer, as they could see how it would help close candidates (and make them successful as a recruiter).

The visual offer letters are just one facet of their offering. Assemble continues to add more functionality (pay equality, and salary band generation as an example). You also have the ability to segment access, so you can give tech recruiters access to tech salary bands, and business recruiters access to their bands. You can even give department heads access to just their own salary bands. The software is intuitive to use, and the settings are easy to update. The Assemble team is agile - when we have a customization request they respond quickly, and if it's relevant to their other customers they add it to their core functionality.

We've acquired a few other companies and wanted to have an Assemble instance for each (with their own salary bands, graphics, and branding). Assemble made that happen! There are also Workday integration capabilities.

I cannot recommend this product enough. Sit through a demo and you will understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truthfully there is nothing that is missing from the product. The Assemble team is responsive, and when we were too busy initially to upload and finalize our own salary bands, they asked for our file and did the heavy lifting for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explaining the true value of our offer, and the overall future potential of an equity-rich compensation package. Consistency among recruiters when discussing future valautions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Especially for pre-IPO companies, and for any company where equity is a key component of your compensation package, this is going to solve a ton of problems for you and eliminate the need for sign-on bonuses and sign-on equity grants. You will close more offers, and close them faster.

The best payroll solution, period.

What do you like best about the product?
We've used every payroll solution out there - Gusto, Rippling, you name it - and Deel is the only one that is simple, easy to use, and global. We've used it for 4 yrs and haven't looked back. Every contractor loves how easy it is to use and to get paid. We know it's compliant everywhere we hire. Immediate support whenever we ask, at all hours.

Could not recommend Deel more.
