What do you like best about the product?
Deel is the only application I have found that offers a quick and easy way to withdraw money safely. I have used it several times and have always found the process straightforward.

It takes too long for the Deel application to load at first.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel makes hiring and paying global contractors and EOR employees simple. The localized contracts and automated tax/compliance checks reduce risk and save legal time. Onboarding is fast, payouts are reliable, and workers get multiple withdrawal options. The UI is clear, invoices are generated automatically, and integrations (e.g., accounting) keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fees and FX spreads can add up for frequent payments, and pricing isn’t always obvious across countries. Contract templates are a bit rigid, so edge-case terms require workarounds. Support is generally good but can be slow during busy periods. Reporting and analytics are basic, and occasional KYC/compliance rechecks create friction for contractors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel removes the friction of hiring and paying talent across borders. It handles localized contracts, worker classification, tax forms, and country-specific compliance so we don’t need in-house legal expertise in every region. Payroll is automated with built-in FX, invoices, and multiple payout methods, which cuts manual ops work and payment errors. Centralized onboarding/document collection gives us a clean audit trail and faster start dates. Overall it reduces legal risk and vendor overhead, speeds up international hiring, and improves contractor/employee satisfaction while giving finance predictable, on-time payroll and clearer reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel has been an absolute game-changer for us when it comes to global hiring and compliance. Their Employer of Record (EOR) services, especially in partnership with Micro1, make it incredibly easy to onboard and manage international talent without the headaches of navigating local employment laws.

The platform itself is intuitive and user-friendly, with clear visibility into contracts, payroll, and compliance. Support has always been responsive and knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth from start to finish.

Occasionally, there are so many great features that it takes a little time to discover everything.

What do you like best about the product?
Hiring internationally is super complex and Deel can help your team expand your workforce with less administrative overhead.

Compliance Management: Deel helps businesses maintain legal compliance by updating its system with the latest local labor laws and tax regulations for each country it operates in.

Streamlined International Payouts: Global payroll for employees and contractors is possible straight from Deel as it supports over 150 currencies. This allows you to pay team members in their preferred currency without the complexities for foreign exchange.

Mitigate Risk of Double Taxation: Deel helps companies comply with local laws and regulations when it comes to taxes.

Time Saving: Deel auto-generates invoices and allows HR teams to automatically schedule recurring payments, while also integrating with accounting software like Quickbooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite. There are huge time-saving opportunities when it comes to using Deel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I found a lot to like during my Deel review, there are still areas where the platform could improve. I would single out the following “watch-outs”:

No clear Deel pricing upfront
One of the first things I noticed is that Deel pricing isn’t fully transparent. You’ll see baseline numbers for Deel EOR or contractor management, but for Deel PEO, US payroll, and some HR tools, you still have to talk to sales. As someone who likes comparing costs before booking a call, that felt like a drawback.
Some features feel less advanced
While Deel Engage makes performance reviews and performance management easier, it isn’t as deep as dedicated tools. The same goes for Deel payroll and contract management. They cover the basics well, but if you need advanced workflows or analytics, you might need integrations or extra tools.
Complex setup for certain cases
Onboarding a contractor or team member in a different country was simple, but once I tried more complex processes (like creating custom benefits or compliance management settings), it required help from customer support. The platform can feel overwhelming if your HR team is new to global HR.
Mobile app limitations
Employees and contractors can use the mobile app for time off, payslips, and contracts, but it doesn’t yet include the full functionality of the desktop platform. For global teams that rely heavily on mobile, this could be a pain point.
Not every country is covered equally
While Deel simplifies hiring in 150 countries, some areas still require workarounds. For example, Deel Payroll is native only in the United States and a few other regions, while in most places, you have to connect to a local entity through the Deel platform. If you need deep, in-country payroll everywhere, you may feel limited.
Learning curve for HR leaders
Deel’s platform is packed with HR tools, benefits, contract management, background checks, and compliance features. That’s powerful, but for an HR team without prior experience in multiple countries, the amount of detail can feel like a lot at first. I had to rely on guides and frequently asked questions to get everything right.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Deel is how simple and reliable it makes global payroll. Everything from contracts to compliance to payments is handled in one place, saving huge amounts of time.

I really like the user-friendly interface and how seamless the onboarding process is for new employees and contractors. It feels effortless to manage international hires.

The support team is outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve issues, which gives me confidence in using the platform.

Timely and flexible payment options are another big plus. Having multiple withdrawal methods makes it very convenient.

Deel’s compliance coverage across countries is a game-changer. It removes the complexity and risk of handling international employment laws on our own.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to dislike about Deel. At times, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming with the number of features, but once you get used to it, it’s smooth.

Occasionally, the verification or onboarding steps can take slightly longer than expected, though this is usually because of compliance requirements rather than the platform itself.

The reporting/analytics could be more customizable, but the core payroll and compliance features work flawlessly.

Sometimes customer support response times can vary depending on time zones, but overall, they are very helpful once connected.

Fees for certain withdrawal methods can feel a bit high, but the multiple payout options balance it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel solves the problem of receiving payments from international companies in a fast, transparent, and compliant way. Instead of worrying about bank delays, hidden fees, or complicated contracts, everything is handled through the platform. Payments are always on time, contracts are clear, and I can withdraw funds in multiple ways. It gives me peace of mind and lets me focus more on my work instead of payment issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Deel is a powerful and user-friendly platform, but there are a few areas that could be improved. For instance, while the pricing is transparent, it can become quite expensive for small businesses or startups managing a large number of contractors—especially with the added fees for currency conversion and withdrawals. Additionally, customer support response times can occasionally be slower than expected during peak periods, which may cause minor delays when resolving urgent issues. Lastly, although Deel supports many countries, some localized compliance features or payment methods are still limited in certain emerging markets.

Deel solves several critical challenges I faced when working with international talent. Before using Deel, managing global contractors meant navigating complex compliance rules, dealing with slow and costly international bank transfers, and juggling multiple tools for contracts, payments, and tax documentation.

Now, everything is centralized in one platform: I can onboard team members from over 150 countries in minutes, pay them in their local currency with transparent fees, and automatically generate compliant contracts and tax forms. This not only saves me hours of administrative work each month but also gives me peace of mind knowing I’m operating within local labor laws.

As a result, I can focus more on growing my business and less on paperwork—while building a truly global, agile team with confidence.
