What do you like best about the product?
It’s intuitive, and it keeps you on the right track by notifying you when you make a wrong move.

Not sure about downside of it. Have a feeling that ux ui can be even better and more minimalistic.

Really easy UI, and a simple home screen where everything is reachable.

Maybe it has too many options, I just use 5% of the app.

Pricing can be higher for smaller teams. Some processes feel a bit rigid.

What do you dislike about the product?
Insufficient customer support. Couldn't resolve one issue, it was my mistake, but still couldn't connect to the personal area, and couldnt get customer support. It was frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel Payroll makes working for a US-based company from South Africa simple and stress-free by handling contracts, compliance, and international payments in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Withdrawal fees and exchange rates could be more competitive, and customer support responses can sometimes take longer than expected. More localized payroll or tax guidance specific to South Africa would also be helpful.

Deel Payroll removes the complexity of cross-border employment by managing international payroll, legal compliance, and payments. This allows me to work for a US company without worrying about contracts, payment delays, or regulatory issues, saving time and reducing risk
Virtual Card Makes Money Transfers Easy
What do you like best about the product?
They offer their own virtual card, which makes money transfers much easier and more convenient for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Deel Payroll can feel overly complex and unintuitive at times, especially when navigating between entities, contractors, and employees, which makes simple tasks take longer than they should. Some users also find the reporting and breakdown of fees insufficiently transparent, so it’s not always clear why certain charges appear or how totals were calculated. Support is generally helpful but can be slow or inconsistent for urgent payroll issues, which is stressful when deadlines are tight. In addition, the platform’s flexibility is great for global teams, but it can lead to occasional compliance or configuration quirks in specific countries that require back-and-forth with support to resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel Payroll solves the complexity of international payroll by handling multiple currencies, local taxes, and country‑specific regulations in one platform, which saves time and reduces compliance risk. It manages local employment laws, contracts, benefits, and tax requirements, lowering the chance of legal issues and fines. By automating calculations, payslips, and payouts, it removes manual, error‑prone work and speeds up the payroll cycle. Deel also streamlines onboarding and offboarding with centralized contracts and documentation, and provides clear dashboards and reports on payroll costs, helping with better budgeting and financial planning. Overall, it lets me spend less time on admin and more time on growing the business and supporting the team.
Ease of Use That Delivers Constantly
What do you like best about the product?
From not knowing anything about the platform, it was very ease to get around without any tutorials. It is a full 360 of tools one would need in the hiring process of a new employee//
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm yet to experience it myself, but I've heard the currency conversion rates are bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has many employees all around the globe - some working full time, some working only part time, some working from office, some working from home based on the requirements, and don't even get me started on how many country we have employees in. Given all these challenges, Deel helps everyone be on the same page.
Very Convenient and Fast
What do you like best about the product?
Very convenient and fast, I can even take advances incase of urgent need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any negativity and I don't dislike Deel payroll.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of emergency or urgent need, I can easily make any advances through Deel and I am 100% recommend this.
