Ease of Payments Checkout and Visibility into Approved hours by stakeholders
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly liked the ease of checkout of the amount of payments I've been owed cross-currency and liked the visibility into approved work chunks/hours by stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as many, but a centralized place to view transactional costs & exchange rates over time would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross region payment transfers process being eased out is what I liked the most. This in turn, I believe enables truly global businesses and organizations to operate.

I get my money literally immediately which is weird to see nowadays.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fee is $25. I feel like it would be better if it's lowered.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Deel is its beautiful design. Unlike many HR software, deal focuses on helping users onboard, avoiding unnecessary time spent figuring out things. It’s intuitive and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It felt like it was forcing me to onboard, as I needed to finish it in one sitting. It was a bit controlling and affected the experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel stands out for its intuitive interface and seamless functionality when it comes to hiring international contractors and employees. It’s incredibly efficient in managing contracts, automating compliance with local laws, and processing global payroll in over 150 countries. The onboarding process is smooth, and the ability to generate localized contracts quickly is a massive time-saver. I also appreciate the transparency in payment timelines and the variety of withdrawal options for contractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Deel excels in automation and ease of use, it sometimes falls short in customer support responsiveness. In some cases, resolving issues—particularly those involving specific country regulations or banking processes—can take longer than expected. Additionally, the pricing can be a bit steep for startups or smaller teams, especially when compared to competitors with more flexible plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel is solving the complex and often overwhelming challenge of compliant international hiring and payroll management. Traditionally, hiring contractors or full-time employees in other countries requires navigating a maze of local employment laws, tax regulations, and currency/payroll systems — which can be risky and time-consuming.
Deel takes all of that off our plate by acting as the Employer of Record (EOR) where needed and providing legally compliant contracts, automated tax documentation, and centralized payment processing in multiple currencies. This means we can scale our team globally without needing to establish local entities or worry about legal exposure.

Used to Be Great – Now a Liability to Our Business
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Deel for 20 months, running payroll for employees and contractors across three companies. In the beginning, it was exactly what we needed—simple, intuitive, and reliable. We moved thousands of payments through the platform without issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, over time, the platform has evolved chaotically. The user experience has become increasingly cluttered and difficult to navigate, but the real problem lies with their policies and support.
Recently, due to a banking update that flagged Deel as a potentially fraudulent transaction, two of our payments (out of thousands) were declined. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, Deel shut down our entire account for two weeks. We’ve been asked to submit extensive documentation—proof of ownership, bank statements, and more—all while our international team remains unpaid.
Their support team has been unresponsive and unclear, and their payment team has offered little to no urgency or help. We’ve been left in the dark, with no clear timeline or resolution.
This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our business. If I didn’t have such strong relationships with my overseas team, we could have lost them due to Deel’s mishandling.
Bottom line: If you’re considering Deel, be warned—what was once a great product has become an unreliable and risky platform for global payroll. Proceed with caution.

Reliable, Intuitive, and Backed by Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is super easy to use and packed with features that make a difference in day-to-day work. The interface is clean, it’s easy to find your way around, and getting started doesn’t take much time. I also like that they’re always improving things and seem to listen to user feedback.
Customer support has been great too—quick to respond and genuinely helpful whenever I’ve had questions.

There’s still room to improve when it comes to customization and flexibility with certain third-party integrations, but nothing major affects the overall experience.
It would also be great if the rewards could be tailored by country so that people from different regions can take advantage of them.

It’s really helped us streamline our operations, cut down on repetitive tasks, and boost overall efficiency. The reporting tools give clear insights into key metrics, which has made it much easier to make informed decisions. I also find the multi-currency withdrawal and payment feature super useful—it’s a big plus when you’re working with talent from different parts of the world.

What I liked most about Deel is how seamless and user-friendly it is. Tasks like filing leave, checking remaining balances, and monitoring payouts are all incredibly easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I liked least about Deel is the repayment setup for the Advance feature. It’s helpful in emergencies, but for those on weekly payments, it doesn’t give much flexibility. A longer or more adjustable repayment option would make it more practical.

Deel helps solve the problem of manual, often tedious HR tasks like tracking leave balances and managing updates to roles or compensation.
Streamline, Straightforward
What do you like best about the product?
I love the notifications and how easy it is to transfer the money once it's received

Nothing in particular. It's pretty smooth and I've never had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not too familiar with problems they have, but I have noticed when there are new features that has enhanced my experience as a contractor using DEEL.

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most about Deel is that it makes things easy both for me and my team. It guides you step by step through the process of filling out a contract. It also feels very secure when it comes to providing sensitive information like IDs and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I didn’t like is that everything is initially in English. I think it would be interesting if, before starting the setup, it asked what language you’d like to use.

I work as a freelancer outside the United States, and Deel helps my contractor pay me while allowing both of us to fulfill our responsibilities regarding contracts, tax forms, and more.
