Convenient, but full of hidden charges
What do you like best about the product?
It's super convenient to not need to create an entity in each country and to pay all employees and contractors in one spot. The new HRIS for free also is nice, and makes sense to give away for free for small businesses.
They do also have seemingly the best coverage as compared to some of their competitors, especially in smaller European countries.

What do you dislike about the product?
Update: Deel reached out to discuss and has taken steps to improve some of my concerns (incl. lowering deregister fee, increasing transparency on fees). They've been very attentive and seem to be making legitimate efforts to move in the right direction, minimizing some of my prior concerns.
Deel is very expensive. At first it seems like pricing is simple - one monthly fee for EOR services but then additional charges add up. $5 per payment, visa sponsorship fees if you want sponsorship, excessive visa renewal fees, and best of all - a $1250 fee to end the visa.
Deel loves to brag in their fundraising announcement of their 85% margin and it's clear how they get it - with these excess fees.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiring employees and contractors in countries where we don't have an entity and don't want to create an entity. It's also convenient to pay once for everyone, regardless of where they are.

AM has been extremely quick to respond and help with any questions and concerns I had.
The platform is user friendly.

Some tasks required seem a bit repetitive. No major dislikes since I've been using Deel.

Allowing us to hire consultants where we aren't fully operating in.
Exceptional Account Manager
What do you like best about the product?
It allows our business to recruit individuals anywhere in the world. Also, the exceptional customer services I have received from our A/C Manager - Carl Ritchie.

You will be happy to hear that there is nothing that I have come across which I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is taking away the risk to our business by employing individuals all around the world. Unfortunately, this would not be possible as we wouldn't know the rules and regulations in each of these countries.

Extended payment terms give the internal team more time to process the funding.
Easy to use EOR tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to onboard and learn how to use as an employee. The Customer Support team is helpful and responsive, particularly when coordinating with other platforms/partners regarding benefits and RRSPs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a fan of e-mail 2FA. I've bypassed this by using Google to log in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel fills the role of EOR for my American-based employer; they ensure I am compliant with Canada's tax requirements so I don't have to worry about taking care of things on my end.
Deel is a really cool platform, you can receive payments from the companies you work for.
What do you like best about the product?
The easy and fast you can get your money. I used it for a while, almost a year, and I can say that I'm happy with how easy it is to use; you receive your money fast and can even withdraw it before it arrives in your account.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a downside just now in the payment methods, you can receive a virtual card to make payments with your Deel funds, but you cannot have a physical card, making it a little bit difficult to use your funds.

Deel makes easier to receive money from contractor works outside of my country and makes the money delivery very fast.

- broad geographic coverage (we can hire employees or contractors in all the countries we're active in)

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest. If anything: i think the user interface is quite friendly and simple, but it could be more user intuitive in some cases (i am still clicking through several menus sometimes to find very common features such as expenses). Deel has recently expanded their HR services suite. I hope that they can include performance management in here (performance reviews, 360 feedback etc) -> we currently use other SaaS tools for this but would be happy to move to Deel for this as well

Deel solves a huge problem for us: how to hire talent in countries where we do not have an entity.. With Deel we now have one platform that manages the engagement (either employee or contractor) of more than half of our full team

What do you dislike about the product?
There is rarely anything I have found in Deel that I can say I don't like about it. Everything till data I have discovered on Deel is really really super excellent but at the same time there is always a scope for betterment.

Deel is solving my transactional problems, which is I think a big mess in every freelancer's life working overseas (Especially for Indians), Zero transaction fee policy of Deel is really super tremendous with market exchange rate of a currency is really super helpful in getting the our money without any transaction fee,
Efficient and friendly team, they’ve always been there for us to support.
What do you like best about the product?
Efficient team, everyone is very helpful, the processes are automated with an online platform which is very user-friendly, also a useful resources library. This all helped.
What do you dislike about the product?
The EOR onboarding process seemed a bit overcomplicated with the additional external app authentication though we understand it was probably impossible to avoid.

1. Hiring in other countries, where we have no in house expertise is scary.
2. It may take some patience to get the right answers from the chat support sometimes.

We can broaden our candidate search by using Deel platform to hire EoR around the Globe. We also rely on Deel to be responsible to comply with all local regulations, that we are not aware of due to multiple locations.
