How Deel enables us to hire, stay compliant, and pay a fully remote, internationally dispersed team
What do you like best about the product?
Deel makes it incredibly easy to hire international contractors and employees who require EOR arrangements to stay compliant in their home countries.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitation in customizability for payroll in the UI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel allows us to generate legally compliant contracts for employees all over the world, and automate payroll for contractors and full-time employees
Easy, Fast, Affordable
What do you like best about the product?
The online platform allows us to have visibility on all hires status, onboarding and payments. I appreciate the platform being pretty much self service (unlike their competitors where all communication goes via email).
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to customise contracts.
Our onboarding and CSM are great but the general service of the Customer Support team is lacking. They don't understand the questions, or they answer partially or they miss the point of the question.
The built in chat is also lacking, it gets stuck frequently.

Deel allows us to hire remote employees in most countries where we need it, do it fast and at an affordable price,
Deel Customer Experience Team is helpful, they are ready to help whenever issue arises.

Support online is not really fully train, often have to go back and forth on issue

Love It for Managing Our International Employees!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate having a direct account rep to contact when I have questions. I really like the ease and simplicity of managing monthly payroll. Deel sends a few email reminders to make sure I don't miss the deadline, and it's super quick to distribute payments each month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the country, the overhead can be expensive for the admin of employees and the taxes/hiring/firing costs can add up quickly. Because of the complexity of these varying costs in different countries, it can be hard for them to adequately communicate it all. But they have fixed any issues when they've arisen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel allows us to be a fully remote, global start-up on a budget. There is also no minimum number of users or subscriptions to be able to use Deel - we only have a need to run payroll for two employees through Deel at the moment (one in France and one in Germany) and that works perfectly! We can add more or remove people at any time.
Very good customer service and the product is very smooth
What do you like best about the product?
Alex W. , our main contact, has been just incredible with all of our questions about the best path forward for our international team. We have had to have several calls to get going, and he's been helpful and patient along the whole way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything really to dislike. One item is that the help center sometimes doesn't have up-to-date items, another is to add some functionality to see the employee's side, just so we can better answer their questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to minimize compliance risk internationally and make payment cycles less burdensome for our finance team. We have accomplished both, and as a bonus, we have found great expertise to leverage when we eventually expand internationally within our workforce.
Super easy and user friendly experience. Aaron has been a dream to work with and so far so good!

How simple the process is ! Everything is very clear on the website and there haven't been any problems

It is a bit pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for!

We are now able to employ people internationally with ease and that's already had a positive impact on the business

Easy to use, good support that is quick and responsive to support requests.

Cannot align all payments since not all countries under the same registration. but partly our issue since employee refuses to switch.

Remote working - I wanted to work remotely and still qualify for my Dutch passport. Deel sponsored me here and allowed me to have the 30% ruling

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with DEEL has been exceptional. I am a fan of the product UX as well as the customer success within the organization. The product offers various employment structures as well as a multitude of payment and benefit options that are geographically specific.
What do you dislike about the product?
Early on in our adoption, the product and service needed increased response time but that has all been resolved.

With Deel you can easily hire people all over the world.
What do you like best about the product?
With Deel you have all your international employees in one system, and you can easily hire people in a new country without having to find a new payroller or even setting up a whole salary admin in that country.
Also, they have support teams in all countries to help with specific labour law related questions, making sure all contracts are secure and according to the local law.
In some countries (like belgium) there are a lot if additional arrangements that come with an employment contract. Deel handles all of that, and gives you a clear overview of what they arrange and you just have to pay the invoice for that person.

What do you dislike about the product?
Because contracts are so country specific, I sometimes have very specific questions. It then can take quite some time before I have the answers that I need. Sometimes you just want to call someone to directly tick everything off and just make that contract.
I understand why this process is slow, but there have been times when it took more than a couple of weeks to finalize a contract. Maybe it is my Dutch impatience, but for me having to wait so long can be quite frustrating.

Making it possible to hire employees in countries where we do not have a payroller yet.
Before Deel the only option then was to work with people as freelancer. That is not an option for everybody.
