Great platform - still evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Deel makes it very easy to hire contractors and employees in different parts of the world - the streamlined process works well. Customer support is very good and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform still needs some work - some tools like the estimation of global costs are being developed for external users, but need to be better integrated with the internal/existing customers. Also - I hope Deel continues to focus on emerging startups and small businesses and doesn't refocus on larger customers to the detriment of them (things like Global Payroll are not really a feature for smaller/mid-size businesses).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily hire and manage employees and contractors across the world. This has enabled us to get the best talent with regards of where it is located - often with significant cost advantages.
Deel has made payroll a joy, not a pain
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of payments to colleagues all around the world is what delights our team. We're also pleased to see continuous, regular improvements of the product which means we'll be using the service for a long time to come.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any downsides are now in the past - for instance, the invoicing feature which used to time out has now been improved. Honestly, any issues we had in the past were solved quickly with the support team and didn't greatly impact us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paying colleagues all around the world is difficult and expensive with a bank account in one country. Deel has solved this problem for us by charging the lowest fees I've seen on the market and also making it possible to pay via Coinbase if funds originate in stablecoins.
Contractor Payments Made Seamless
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility if Deel when it comes to the ease of global contractor payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I truly dislike but there are definitely improvements to be made. Example would be payment scheduling, account payment flexibility, and auto-tabulation of contract hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel solves the issue of global payment compliance.
Mostly a positive experience
What do you like best about the product?
Having a dedicated account manager, platform ux is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels like your message has to get redirected a few times before reaching the correct person. No clear contact for our employees on Deel. Some terms misleading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our international employees contracts, pay, benefits etc. Means we can hire international employees more efficiently.
Easy to use with great interface
What do you like best about the product?
Making payments worldwide on one platform. Great customer experience too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have all the countries we'd like to hire in. Ie Zimbabwe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All issues related to hiring remotely/globally.
Global hiring solution implementation with great support
What do you like best about the product?
During the set up so far, I've found the support from Anh Phan incredible and during her annual leave, we were also provided with excellent support by Artan.
As our main point of contact, Anh has always been available, responded to queries and helped us to liaise with Legal. She was readily available to jump on calls to demo the platform with our wider colleague base and has made the implementation process so much smoother - she's been on hand for the smallest and stupid questions, any niggles in the system and for this support I highly thank her.
Creating contracts is easy, the platform is nice to use and 24/7 team are really fast to help also.

We've had a few issues with contract templates containing formatting errors and lots of back and forth on clauses, but this is understandable with Deel being new themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel are allowing us to hire global employees in a more compliant manner and ensure our contractors are also set up effectively. It allows us to ensure taxes and deductions are made correctly and not have to set up costly permanent establishments! Able to tap into global hiring pools by having Deel as our employment solution
Excellent customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Customer support is attentive and professional. My experience with Deel has been great. I'm using Deel to pay our contractors and run contractor payroll.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no prorata calculator when creating a contract.

Running contractor payroll for my contractors who are located around the world.

Deel to the rescue
What do you like best about the product?
The Deel platform is so easy and intuitive, that it makes for a great user experience. I engaged with Deel in late 2021 to onboard a UK hire and their representative was so helpful and shared insights into the statutory requirements for the UK that I felt that I had contacted the right company to help us grow. Fast forward to Feb 2022 when the war started in Ukraine and our US bank couldn't get payroll to our employees based there. Deel was able to do what they couldn't and Hivecell will always be thankful for the Deel team. You have a forever client and I will happily recommend your services to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of a single thing that I dislike about Deel. Great service, platform, pricing, efficiency. A home run in my book.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel has solved our international payroll problem and enabled us to hire hard-to-find talent in other countries and they take care of all legal requirements. Solid partner
Great Service but not perfect company-customer relationship
What do you like best about the product?
It solves the problems with paying contractors very well, especially it is nice for the more "complicated" contractors. So far we only use their service for paying our contractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not been missing anything yet. Their sales team has been emailing me trying to get me to become a customer even though I already am a customer which is quite weird.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting global contractors easily. We now do not have to worry about regulations as much and it saves us a bunch of time. It has not affected our business that much yet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure they support the countries you will have contractors within.
