Great engine, great team!
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent product, great team to work with and great support!.
What do you dislike about the product?
The engine is not that compatible with MySQL - a lot of the syntax and protocol is supported, but the behavior can be different, or there might be limitations.
Making the engine more suitable for less-savvy users would yield better adoption (my understanding is that's already a part of the company's roadmap).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replaced databases of our core operational systems with MemSQL. We mostly go after greater performance and scalability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Try to get to know the product in more depth.
- Use Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.

The effectiveness of our platform has increased significantly, we’re now able to keep pace with increasing data volume and provide faster insights for our customers.

It has some learning curve. Tools can be improved. Better documentation and learning resources needed.
