Excellent service - very happy

What do you like best about the product?
I love the energy and passion with which the classes convey. I believe that Ryan is an excellent educator and that he should continue to profess his love for the cloud to help the rest of the Gurus become better every day. There is nothing that you cannot find on the platform, if you have a problem, there is a video with the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes you can't add subtitles to videos, and this can be a problem for non-native English speakers. You also need to always be connected to the internet, perhaps you could make an app for the Microsoft Store and be able to download the videos in Windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on my Cloud track developing many new skills. I love that when I have a problem I can easily search for an A Cloud' video and then everything gets easier.

I have achieved 2 certifications so far... And I plan to continue certifying myself in some Cloud providers, always hand in hand with A Cloud Guru.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are thinking about training for the cloud, do not hesitate, A Cloud Guru is an excellent platform that will allow you to develop professionally in the way you prefer. Six Certs and Countless Work Assistance

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A Cloud Guru constantly updates their courses for the changing climate in cloud computing. It has helped me achieve 6 AWS Certifications, a Security+ cert, and I am training for more. It also helps when I have to learn technology quickly like python, Powershell, and CloudFormation helper scripts. Now I am relearning Docker and Kubernetes through them.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, I wanted more labs. Now they have more than you can count.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning new languages and in-depth views at technologies like Kubernetes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with a beginner's course on a topic you don't know. So you can get a feel of how you learn with their site.

A Cloud Guru - the best provider of Cloud Education

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way A Cloud Guru treats training from a zero to hero attitude. They start as if you know nothing. This might seem tedious if you know the material already but is invaluable to those that need to truly start from nothing, or need a refresher on some points.

They just acquired Linux Academy so there is lots of new material, as well as a cloud playground, and more quizzes launched, in response to customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I do NOT like. They have just acquired Linux Academy, with LOTS of new material.
They have focused on cloud PaaS, not on SaaS like Salesforce. Some might see that as a negative, but that is not their focus, so it makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have achieved a Cloud Practitioner certificate, and am using A Cloud Guru to work toward Google Associate Engineer certification now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not a site to learn programming. I would recommend another provider for that.

Robust and Holistic Cloud Learning Platform!

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Acloud Guru has very comprehensive courses for various cloud native platforms. With recent merging of Linux Academy has made Acloud guru very robust learning platform for beginners as well as who seek for advanced cloud certifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
For additional platforms like Cloud sandboxes/playground, they charge additional fee to use that. but overall, sandboxes and playground labs are very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advancing my career with Cloud certifications. My company is adopting cloud and DevOps in a big way, and Acloud guru helping me to learn new cloud & Digital skills quickly. As a manager, I also promoted and funded this for my direct reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once again, Great platform for learning new cloud skills. Great courses , sandboxes and playground is awesome!

From Zero to Hero

  • August 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of A Cloud Guru is how they break down complicated subjects into less jargon filled and relatable terms that help me gain a deeper understanding of the intended functions behind Cloud Computing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something A Cloud Guru could improve on is more hands-on exercises. I know that this is an area they are currently improving on with the new platform and I look forward to exploring it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I came into A Cloud Guru during my senior year of college as a complete noob to cloud computing. Within two months I had received my Cloud Practitioner Certification and am now well on my way to the Solutions Architect. I know how to set up environments programatically , utilize AWS tools such as sagemaker for ML, and manage costs for storage and compute resources effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend choosing one of their specialized learning paths from the onset and sticking to it. You can get away with just doing their certification courses but you will gain a far deeper understanding by going above and beyond. I also recommend you watch some of their original weekly shows. I have gained so much useful knowledge on subjects such as AI and blockchain from this.

Great Platform

  • August 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Been using this platform for a few years. It’s awesome! The content stays up to date and has really helped me with studying for certification exams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Content stays fresh and the new capabilities for cloud playgrounds cover the one drawback I had with using my own account
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning as much as possible about cloud. Also using it for personal growth with certification studying
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for personal development and learning about cloud. The business features look useful for teams

Great cloud training for all your learning and certification.

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing examples and labs. Shorter videos are nice too to keep your attention. Taking the videos and courses at your own pace really helps and it keeps track where you left off. Tremendous amount of different courses covering a lot of different topics. Being able to use cloud playground and setting up sandboxes to test products, features or just follow along with courses like Docker, Linux and Kubernetes. I also am a big fan of the labs included in the courses to see what the instructor is working on and lets you do those tasks yourself. Also, having some cyber security courses available will be a big help going forward. I will also eventually have to check out the new ASWS courses when it is time to recertify.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the content isn't up to date. But most of this has been resolved in the last year specifically for the new courses like Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies exam AZ-303, Microsoft Azure Architect Design Exam AZ-304 and Microsoft Azure Security Technologies AZ-500. The older classes like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect and SysOps needed to be updated when I initially took the training. They didn't reflect a lot of the newer stuff that was on the tests and technology had changed in the exam where you couldn't do something previously but that changed to where you COULD do that thing. Other than that, I don't think I had anything else I didn't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and certification to advance my career. Also, requirements due to job for specific certifications including, AZ 104, AZ 500, AZ 303 and AZ 304. By taking these courses along with the practice tests I have been able to successfully complete the required certifications in the time line that was given to me by my company during the hiring process. I had 3 months to complete AZ 104, 5 months to complete AZ 500 and 12 months to complete both AZ 303 and AZ 304 which I completed ahead of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A tremendous amount of different training courses available a long with sandboxes to try out different things.

Time to go to school

  • August 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The balance between lecture and lab, as well as the knowledge checks. Looking forward to the practice exams, to be taken shortly before sitting for the actual test.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to edit the lecture notes down from word-for-word to more "readable" language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the cert AND learning how to do the job at the same time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look around at all of your training options, and then get a one year subscription to ACG. You'll learn, enjoy learning it, and get a t-shirt! You can spend less, but you won't get a better value.
