After 6 years of using Asana ...
What do you like best about the product?
Pros:
1. flexibility of set up
2. ability to manage notifications in detail
1. flexibility of set up
2. ability to manage notifications in detail
What do you dislike about the product?
Cons:
1. Cost (it's more expensive than JIRA).
2. I wish there's a way to manage a member's visibility of comments. (This has become an issue when a client is a member of a client facing board.
- At ticket level the client sees everything even after you remove the ticket from the board and into an internal facing board.)

Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use and well integrated with Outlook and Slack. It become my daily tool to consolidate project tasks and daily tasks. The implementation was easy and work very well with SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
We really like the option for goals, the company goals, team goals and personal goals. However, the reporting on the goals might need to be improve in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There was no shared understanding of who was responsible for completing tasks. Asana’s assignment features helped clarify ownership, reducing ambiguity and improving follow-through.
Asana enabled units like units to share templates and best practices. For example, the “notes” functionality was adopted across teams to auto-assign tasks after meetings
Asana Templates help efficiency and we create templates for this reason.

Love How Simple It Is to Stay Organized
What do you like best about the product?
love the user experience—it's intuitive and clean. I also appreciate the flexibility to organize multiple projects under a key KPI or initiative. It makes tracking progress across teams incredibly easy and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is convenient, but it lacks some of the functionality of the desktop version, making it harder to manage complex projects on the go.

I use Asana to manage tasks and coordinate deliverables across multiple integration partners. It helps me keep track of timelines, technical onboarding, co-marketing activities, and partner-specific workflows—all in one place. The vision in canvas mode, it's not that I don't like Asana's, it's that I organize myself better in list or calendar.

Asana keeps our cross-functional teams aligned and accountable
What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers the perfect balance between simplicity and functionality. It’s incredibly easy to onboard new users, yet powerful enough to manage complex, cross-functional projects. The timeline (Gantt view) is great for planning, and the custom fields let us track everything from dependencies to priority levels. We love how tasks, subtasks, comments, and files all live in one place—making collaboration smooth and centralized. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom keep everything in sync.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and dashboards, while improving, still feel limited for high-level portfolio views. Some automation rules also feel basic compared to tools like ClickUp or Monday.com. We'd also like to see more advanced recurring task logic (e.g., relative due dates based on dependencies).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us streamline project management across marketing, product, and operations. It eliminates confusion around ownership and deadlines. We’ve reduced meeting time, improved accountability, and increased project delivery speed. Templates also make repeatable processes (like campaigns or product launches) faster and more consistent.
Asana was my first project management platform and it set a standard
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up pages and add collaborators. The view in itself is also very "clean-looking" to a point that it's very easy on the eyes. Maybe it's a me thing as well but I like how I can drag things around in Asana (the card thingy). That little quirk made finishing deliverables a bit bearable for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just don't like how overwhelming it is to use at first, but it's not something major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana's intuitive UI shows you your tasks, when they're due, and what you need to do (I know this is customizable but I like that they give you those default options right away as templates for your pages). It really helped me manage a lot of deliverables as a writer.
Wonderful forecasting product
What do you like best about the product?
It's still very easy to use and understand
What do you dislike about the product?
I like Asana the same as my original review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many differetn employees with different projects. It's nice to have a way to have a birdseye view of what everyone is doing.
