Day-to-day work, automated
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been a game-changer for me and my clients, significantly improving efficiency and streamlining day-to-day operations. Asana's next-level Smart Rules stands out by transforming tedious, manual tasks into seamless automations that save time and reduce errors. The platform's intuitive design and user-friendly AI features make it easy to manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and scale across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some great opportunities to make forms and reporting even better for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is reducing manual error and cutting down on administrative lift through an organized project structure and robust rules feature.
Great for task tracking and managing projects across teams
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly design. It is a great way to keep all of our projects organized across teams and track projects. The forms are a great feature to save us time when new projects are requested.
What do you dislike about the product?
A feature to create multiple tasks right in a form would be great. Currently you have to do a work around leveraging custom fields and it can be tedious to set up and cluttered on the task view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and task organization, automation of new task/project requests and increased visibility
Reliable for task and project management, but room for improvement in high level overview and UX
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to stay on top of tasks and ongoing projects. The automation features are helpful for recurring tasks, and the integrations with tools like Slack and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Goals and Milestones features feel a bit underwhelming. It’s difficult to get a clear high-level view that connects goals to actual work being done. Also, the UI isn’t as intuitive as it could be, especially when navigating across different teams and portfolios. With large projects, the interface starts to feel a bit cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped bring clarity to project timelines and task ownership. It’s especially helpful when collaborating across teams we know who’s doing what and by when.
Really great and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can make tactical steps to do, inside a project. I also love how I can include attachments. so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how sometimes, I am unable to see what to complete immediately. It can feel like information overload, when I see a bunch of notifications and it doesn't entirely align with projects im working on. Or some tasks can be hidden if its so embedded inside a project (e.g. a step inside another project, inside a bigger project)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing my projects and helping me stay organized!!
Excellet PM software that is simple to pick up.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana features a simplistic layout that helps those who are not project managers to understand how the project is functioning and what is currently blocked. The ability to categorize tasks in an organized and easy-to-understand fashion is better than most other PM platforms that I have used. It's been refreshing to see our customers actually use the platform instead of just keeping up with tasks by email.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timeline can be a little confusing to use if there are dependencies between tasks. It would also be helpful to be able to adjust the timeline and know what days of the week are for each dates without leaving the timeline view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customers will actually use the product instead of bypassing it for what is comfortable. If it takes more than a minute or two to figure out how to navigate a platform, the customer will not use it. Keeping items tidy and at the front of the UI is extremely helpful.
Perfect for remote small business planning to grow
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I could start with a free account when I went full time with my business 5 years ago. As my business grew, I was able to upgrade and utilize the added features of Asana. I love the versatility Asana has; my team and clients can customize how they see the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading my account was not as easy as I'd expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have interns and it has been easy to add the interns to specific projects. I also appreciate the templates Asana has and use them often as a jumping off point for new project templates for my own business.
After using JIRA for many years, I am finding Asana to be a better product.
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's quick and easy creation of tasks, good monitoring tools and easy form building.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any dislikes yet. Its a very robust well thought out application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is making our collaboration efforts very streamlined. I can easily assign tasks to team mates and monitor progress. I use it religiously for even the the smallest of tasks I need to accomplish.
Great work experience! Helps me keep my social media plans so organized!
What do you like best about the product?
The upside is how organized and efficient it is. Being able to have multiple projects/collaborations in use at the same time, yet still be so organized, is amazing. Especially working with a big church like I do, it is so helpful to keep all creative things in line, and making sure nothing goes under the rug.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes checking things off makes them disappear in certain tasks, but to each their own. I honestly do not have many complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of things slipping under the rug. My job has so many projects, through marketing, comms, social media, photography, graphic design, signs, merch... and it can be hard to stay looped in all of this without things going missing. But, with asana, nothing goes missing, and we, as a team, all have an easy way to stay in touch and collaborate.
Great tool for work management and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Visibility into what my teammates are working on
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone on my team uses it - not sure if this is inherent to Asana but would love to find ways to increase adoption
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of what I and others on my team are doing
My Paper Planner Gone Digital
What do you like best about the product?
The prioritization of my tasks that I have to do, showing me what is most urgent and moving down from there. Not to mention the little unicorn who flies across the screen after completing a task, hello small wins! It helps to hold me and my colleagues to a timeline and accountable when things do and don't get finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting lost in the weeds of it and a little reminder when due dates are about to approach as opposed to them just turning red could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Losing track of priorities or not knowing who is doing what.
