Asana is a life saver for project management!

  • April 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana is user friendly and simple. It has great features but does not try and over complicate things. I also like that you can create subtasks on a parent project- keeps things super organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I forget to apply the filter to show only incomplete tasks, and it gets overwhelming and confusing to see every task Ive ever completed mixed in with all the incomplete tasks. I wish it would automatically disappear once I check the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as an executive assistant with recurring tasks that come at random times of the month. Asana helps me not forget to complete my tasks on the right day of the month. It also helps me assign out tasks to my team after meetings.

VL - Asana review after 1 month of usage as an Workflow Specialist and an Ambassador

  • April 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Asana sporadically in the past, and this year I focused on the certification for the Workflow and on becoming an Ambassador.
It has opened new insights on the tool and its usability.
I love the AI integration that makes productivity more effective for status, goals, and many other tasks in Asana.
The dashboard view gives a good visualization of the status of a project or portfolio and allows for quick decisions to be made without digging into each section or task of the project.
The automated reminders, smart prioritization, and automated rules save time and add a layer of efficiency to project management, making it a solid choice for teams looking to modernize their workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless I am mistaken, I have not yet found the link or option to export a project into Excel.
In case I have a report and a client who does not need access to Asana, I would love to be able to export the report status as a list or Gantt chart to Excel and share it with the stakeholders.
That feature would be highly appreciated

Sometimes, the AI does not respond properly. For example, I had a list of tasks (around 50+) for which I needed to change the Due date. When I wrote a normal language prompt to request AI to update the Due date for all tasks under section xxx, AI came back with a report on the section and mentioning that many tasks where on xyz due date. I had to rewrite the prompt 3-4 times to get a version that was good enough for AI to make changes on some tasks and not all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving project collaboration within the team and having the capacity to view progress and status of many projects in one place.

Asana is the backbone of our creative process.

  • April 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the backbone of our creative process. I love the customizability and the power it offers to users. We use daily and most of our people find it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support team and issue escalation of things like billing questions are a real challenge for us. The cost is also not insignificant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana offers a great customizable ticketing system, and flexible project and task management.

My Asana Experience as a User and Super Admin @CHURCHGATE GROUP

  • April 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For us at Churchgate, we use Asana for our Team Performance Review, our Assest Risk Mnagament and work managment. It is essnetial improves our team collaboration accross the Group. I particularly like the API intergation of Asana to our ERP systems. That improves our work flow and operatrional processes at accross the Group.

Furthermore the endless resources on the Asana Academy that provides free and ceritifcates training on Asana. Most of my team mates and colleagues are exited by this and have earned certiifcations on Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
I particulary dislike the fact that on the Asana starter Package I only havr 250 action/rule per month compared to 25,000 actions/rules on the advance plan. If the starter Plan is next to the advance plan, the difference is must-haves is huge! I strongly recommed there is a Plan betwenn the starter plan and the advance plan that could allow at least up to 5000-100,000 actions per month. This is really discouraging for me and my team. Furthermore, yiu can only assign on single team mate to a Task on Asana. We were prevoiously using Monday.com, On Monday.com, I could assign more than one person to task!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamwork and Collaboration. The use of Asana has foster Team builidng and bonding accross the Churchgate Group
