Great for task lists and project management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to create project templates and customize them for each project. Great way to communicate info/responsibilities with team!
What do you dislike about the product?
There doesn’t seem to be a plan that makes sense financially for small independent businesses (with teams 2-10 people). The starter plan is really expensive for a small business looking to have all members with equal access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating project templates and multiple projects
Easy to use but does not have everything our company is looking for. Salesforce integration.
What do you like best about the product?
The chrome task bar is very useful. Things like this make it easier for people that already have the way they to there to do list easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to learn. Had issues and had to watch videos to ensure that I understand it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to find a way for people in company to buy into it.
Asana - The Only Software I'd Ever Sell
What do you like best about the product?
I run my entire life on Asana. I would be dead in the water, career-wise without this wonderful software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had a challenging time getting other people on my team bought in on the concept of Asana. Half of the joy of using Asana is collaborating on tasks. This doesn't happen if not everyone is willing to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes sure that I don't ever forget anything that someone has asked me to do.
Asana is useful, but not the best project management software I've used.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the dark mode and it's a fun software - the rainbow yeti, narwhall and unicorn when completing task is always a chuckle producer in team meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not able to adjust card size using board view, I want to be able to track time in a given section like in Planview's project management software. I also would like to be able to stack sections vertically so I can condense boards and not have to scroll left and right as often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes tasks and work being done more visual, making it easier to understand the team's workload.
Workflow Specialist Certificate
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the Workflow Specialist Certificate. It taught me how to automate tasks, which is really useful at work. The labs where we built actual workflows were the best part.
I think it could be better if we did a bigger project, like a real-world problem, in teams. Also, more help with fixing errors in workflows would be good. Finally, I wish there was more focus on how to plan and understand the processes we're automating.
Overall, it was a good course and I learned a lot.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a learner and yet to discover anything I have disliked so can't comment on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me to learn and also practically apply my knowledge to dive deeper into project management.
Asana saves the day
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use, and has a super friendly interface. Most importantly, you have really decent features even on the free version which means you can use it at work, and also switch to using it personally. The support from customer service has also been great and easy to find.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rules and automations can feel super complex. I had to do workflow training and watch lots of videos to even understand the basic level of automations. I wish that was a lot simpler, as it would a persons confidence in using the tool a lot quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is the biggest problem Asana is solving. At the moment, we have multiple teams working on different platforms and in different places, this makes collaborating more difficult but also makes it harder to have an overview of where everyone is. We are moving to Asana to remove that aspect, but also be able to share resources, remove waste and have a clear view of where we need to improve our systems.
Asana used to be better for Nonprofits
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to assign tasks to people with due dates and easily view tasks in multiple ways (list or calendar views) and easily being ale to move tasks around as needed when project timelines shift/
What do you dislike about the product?
the way you can't organize projects on the sidebar anymore and the way tasks are only visible to people on your team unless you make them public.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all small tasks that go into reaching workflow goals.
Its very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
user friendly, pretty , affordable, subsidies for charities, amazing training and free supports
What do you dislike about the product?
More integrations with other major tools, ability to undo, ability to send videos
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is improving transparency at the org, easing workflows, helping us template typical work, inking work to goals
Works great for the way I think
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customizable format and the features that it has. I love that we can collaborate together as a team or I can keep my own private checklists and tasks as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there's anything that I can say I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that we can collaborate on to dos
I use Asana for everything
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is. I use it to keep track of work projects, day - to - day to do's, and even use it to to keep track of trips I'm planning with friends. It makes planning less of a hassle and I can implement it in different ways. I also like how easy it is to add friends to my boards and integrate it into how we even plan nights out.
What do you dislike about the product?
How many of the features are paid. I'd love to see a few more features offered at a lower tiered rate, allowing for more accesibility for folks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows for greater communication and fewer bottle necks. I can ensure my clients see exactly what I'm seeing and can direct their attention to important tasks easily.
