Asana - Efficiency Gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been such an incredible tool that has not only improved my personal productivity, but my team and entire organization's productivity. With the ability to collaborate on tasks, track items, and with the integration of AI and other various applications, it seems like there is nothing Asana can't do. It has made myself, my team, and my organization a well oiled and organized machine. I can't imagine not using it daily at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing I can say about Asana is that there are a few minor abilities or functions that do not work and do not have other options to integrate. I have figured out ways to work around it though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the issues of organization, project collaboration, and interal visibility.

The ease of being able to access Fri phone or laptop

It took awhile to understand it on phone. After going on laptop, it was understandable and then worked great!

Organization and continuation of projects
Time Saver for Cross Collab Work!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is fun to use, creating rules and tasks, assigning collaborators, entering your description of what a task means to you, and adding the functions for your own project but also for other teams' visibility.
I also like the forms that can be created and how engaging they are when used to transfer to a specific task. The connectors with other Apps like Salesforce or Slack are pretty cool and avoid the need to send emails when a task is completed. I self-learned doing the Asana training and specialist courses, which I love about Asana; they give you the tools to learn it on your own.

What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot move forms from one project to another, please create that option! My team uses forms every day, an I get assigned tasks from these. So I will be using them with multiple projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating tasks based on email requests. I automated this process by creating a workflow that allows a team of 20 collaborators to share information with me. It saved me around 4 thousand minutes of task creation just in Q4 of 2024. I recommend this software 100%

Share files and attachments directly within tasks and create custom triggers for task assignments, status updates, and more.
A useful tool for tracking projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has so many options on how you are able to use it. The range is impressive and the ability to automate is really helpful. The amount of tutorials availbe also makes it accessable to learn how to use all of the functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to there being so many ways to use and set up asana it can be a bit overwhelming at first learning the best way to utilize it and to implement the automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a company that has multiple projects coming that have many different units and it's majority of custom work. Asana has allowed us to track all the units for the varying projects in one location. Visualize how they are overlapping with each other and if we are piling too much into one week or quarter. Asana has also helped us communicate when a unit is ready to move from one department to another so there is less lag time between units getting transfered to the next step of their build.

It's so easy to setup projects that span teams across our organization.
Asana is very flexible and easy to learn.
They also make it very easy to create a new project via the import of external files, e.g. csv.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not possible to duplicate rules within a project. I wish that feature was available to accelerate the setup of a new project, when it's not possible to use rules from a template or a bundle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows our entire organization to streamline the execution or large, cross-functional projects linked to our company strategic goals. It allows full visibilty of our projects and the tasks linked to them, all managed through the relevant portofolios of projects. It's the ultimate program management solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me keep my projects organized and is an extremely powerful tool to organize my tasks and subtasks and track what I am completing and what still needs to be worked on in the future. I love the simplicity along with the fact that I don't miss tasks due to the all encompassing nature of how my productivity tools work in collaboration with one another.

It takes some time to Asana integrated into my tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me stay on top of my tasks and prioritze which ones to do first, second, third and so on while not letting items fall through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Lots of details applied to each task and all tasks easily summarized. Really like task due date ranges. Overall, very powerful!

Would like a free version for personal projects
