It needs a strategy and dedicated efforts to get it right at the start as it links to reporting basis the foundation of your custom fields and workflows

Asana has increased the worth of our business

  • July 24, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the perfect system to customise to meet your unique business needs. My team communicates effectively, due dates are set, and work is done in a streamlined manner.

It has gamified our business and we LOVE it and use it all day long, every day of the week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is quite costly for newer businesses, but definitely worth every penny if you deep dive and use the program to its max.

The rules are difficult to track and fix because the filing system for the rules is quite clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has streamlined my content creation department, sales department, finances, product delivery.... everything.

We are fully integrated into asana to run our entire business and we even use it as a filing system.

The best part about asana is the detailed analytics dashboard.

Fantastic Task Management Program

  • July 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana manages to streamline and automate complicated processes in a very simple manner. I've used Asana for about 6 years and they excel in so many areas that other SaaS programs that pale in comparison. The tutorial and educational content is easy to navigate and watch. The Ambassador Community and Forum Leaders are a fantastic resource to learn more about different use cases or gain insights from different perspectives. It's easily customizable within a simple framework. The ability to "multihome" tasks so you're only editing information in one spot but it can be visible in multiple places is amazing. Asana sends out regular product updates, has regular webinars, and much more to ensure users are comfortable and confident in using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything I dislike about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana specifically allows my team to have important task and project information consolidated into a single source of truth. It helps maintain transparency and communication among a team that is not always able to collaborate in office together. It helps us share information with other teams and control who has the ability to edit information vs. comment and I don't have to worry about people making changes. The audit log also helps keep track of who made changes and what those changes were.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is SUPER easy to organize in whatever way works for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it can be configured in so many ways, it's a little difficult to figure out best uses right off the bat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana to streamline project management for an organization that is growing and re-organizing it's business structure. We're also using it to implement project workflows for specific tasks related to compliance.

Asana Rocks

  • July 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is super user friendly and that you are able to import Excel spreadsheets to creat projects! CLUTCH!
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside (and maybe I just don't know how to do it) is that you are unable to import different spreadsheets to an already established project using the same columns. I would love to learn if you can add content via import.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The key problem that Asana has solved for our organization is visibility of projects for our client. They are able to review and add comments to each project we touch and that has been an ongoing painpoint for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana is fully customizable to our needs. We are often limited by the confines of production software. Asana allows us to create production templates that are specific to our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
We just started using Asana, but so far have had no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are continuously running multiple projects. Asana helps us keep on track and make sure we don't miss critical steps or communication.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our teams are using Asana to collaborate across functional areas. This is beneficial in reducing and ultimately eliminating double work and confusion.

A cohesive experience

  • July 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It all fits together. From a field worker checking off tasks to the boardroom reviewing portfolio performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding is kind of confusing chaos. Not linear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're on the small side and remote, but needed a way for the partners to actively manage the disparate activities across multiple initiatives. We have a chat platfdorm but needed visibility and accountability for tasks. Asana gives us that without locking us into a back office platform. It doesn't "get in the way" of doing daily business since it integrates with our existing stack.
